The company team was very good communicating with us. The lake had a severe weather and the authorities disallowed boats going out. We were very disappointed but nothing they could do.
booked, paid on line, then got hit with an additional 60 euro charge for gas before heading out.. even though we brought back the boat and the needle had barley moved. feels very scammy . my son had a second boat with a different company and got hit with a 100 euro charge. i would check this out in advance

I had a fantastic day on Lake Como, and a big thank you to Alex for making it so special. He helped me a lot with learning how to drive the boat and explained everything clearly and patiently. Alex was very friendly, professional, and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole experience. Thanks to his help, I had an amazing time and felt confident on the boat. It was truly a wonderful day, and I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Lake Como. Thanks again, Alex!
What a fantastic way to spend a day on the lake. I had organised to rent a boat with Oyster Como Charter for an activity to do during our 3-day trip to Lake Como to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Alessandro was wonderfully helpful throughout, from the moment of booking, and up to and during the rental, his communication was excellent and ensured peace of mind. I was able to extend the rental shortly beforehand, and he was flexible with our start and end times to allow us to drive the boat to dinner, and was flexible about picking us up in a different location. He also dropped the boat off to our hotel which was very helpful, unlike a lot of other rental companies I found. We were able to enjoy some prosecco on the boat, which also had a Bluetooth speaker, and Alessandro let us know a list of must-see attractions to visit during our time out on the lake. Docking any private rental boat on the lake is quite heavily restricted apart from at hotels with restaurants which often have their own docks that they will allow you to stop at if you dine there. Oyster Como Charter do offer an antipasti platter to have on the boat which would be a nice way to enjoy lunch on the lake - we hadn’t opted for this but we were able to dock at Grand Hotel Tremezzo for lunch, and Il Serena hotel for a drink, which were lovely. Definitely would highly recommend this company in terms of value and customer service - spot on!
an absolutely amazing experience of beautiful then first time driving an engine on the lake is really fun or had 35 cars in my life but never drove anything on the water really is a pleasure
