Först kommer du att gå med på den första turen för en berättad och naturskön bilresa från SF över Golden Gate Bridge, utforska skönheten i Giant Coastal Redwoods vid Muir Woods och uppskatta den häpnadsväckande utsikten från Sausalitos pittoreska strandpromenad. Vi brukar göra ett stopp vid Golden Gate-bron. Vi kommer att tillbringa en timme och 20 minuter i Muir Woods och ungefär en timme i Sausalito, där du kan njuta av den fantastiska utsikten över bukten, broarna och centrala SF. Besök lokala konstgallerier, souvenirbutiker, ät lunch på en fisk- och skaldjursrestaurang. Den andra föraren/guiden hämtar dig från Sausalito. På vägen kommer du att se St. Quintin, Mission San Rafael och Marin Civic Center-byggnad av Frank Lloyd Wright. Vi besöker 2 vingårdar i Sonoma. Båda provningarna ingår. Efter dem, eller mellan den första och andra provningen, kommer vi att besöka Sonoma Plaza, före detta nordligaste punkten i Mexiko, hem för den senaste 21:a Kaliforniens Mission och cirka 40 restauranger.

Åk från ditt hotell i centrum eller FIsherman's Wharf till den norra sidan av Golden Gate Bridge
Gå genom staden och lyssna på den berättade rundturen. Från Union Square till Wharf till bron. På vägen passerar du Palace of Fine Arts byggdes för Panama-Pacific International Exposition som hölls i San Francisco 1915 för att fira fullbordandet av Panamakanalen, men det sågs allmänt i staden som en möjlighet att visa upp dess återhämtning från jordbävningen 1906.
Kör genom den äldsta delen av staden, Presidio. Se den nya Presidio Highway, Tunnel Top Gardens och Crissy Field, flygvapenbasen under andra världskriget.

Se The Lone Sailor, en bronsskulptur, hyllning till alla som har tjänstgjort eller för närvarande tjänstgör i marinen, Marine Corps, Coast Guard och Merchant Marine.
Åk från Golde Gate Bridge till Muir Woods. Se den fantastiska utsikten över Richardson Bay, Sausalito, Tiburon, Strawberry Point och Mount Tamalpais. Lyssna på historien om Marin County och Muir Woods.
Njut av den naturliga skönheten i Coastal Sequoias! Muir Woods National Monument är ett nationalmonument uppkallat efter naturforskaren John Muir. Det ligger på Mount Tamalpais nära Stillahavskusten i SW Marin County och är en del av Golden Gate National Recreation Area, bara 12 miles (19 km) norr om SF. Det skyddar 554 tunnland (224 ha) varav 240 tunnland (97 ha) är furuskogar vid kusten (Sequoia sempervirens), de högsta levande föremålen på jorden. På grund av sin närhet till Stilla havet är skogen regelbundet insvept i en kustnära marin lagerdimma. Det förblir svalt och fuktigt året runt med dagtemperaturer på i genomsnitt mellan 40 och 70 grader Fahrenheit (4 till 21 °C). För miljontals år sedan växte förfäder till redwood- och sequoiaträd i hela Nordamerika. Besök Sausalito! Fantastisk utsikt över bukten, centrum och Bay Bridge! Alltid på toppen av de vackraste små städerna i Amerika! Strategiskt beläget på Pacific Coast HW, var det hem för Ferries, som kör till Hyde Str. Pier i SF. Under andra världskriget var det hem till ett stort Marinship-varv där Liberty-skeppen byggdes. I slutet av 1960-talet ockuperade husbåtssamhällena vattnet längs med och intill Sausalitos strand. Om du vill tillbringa mer tid där kan du ta färjan tillbaka till staden, det kostar cirka $15 extra. Fantastiska fisk- och skaldjursrestauranger! Konstgallerier!

Återvänd till dina hotell på Wharf och sedan till centrum.

What an incredible day! My husband and I spent the weekend in San Francisco and wanted to explore outside of the city. We chose the Muir Woods & Sausalito + Half-Day Wine Country Tour, and it exceeded our expectations! The beautiful views near the Golden Gate Bridge, walking the trails among the gorgeous trees of Muir Woods, visiting the beautiful city of Sausalito, and the unique wine tasting experiences in Sonoma made for an unforgettable day. Huge thanks to Randy, our tour guide, who was extremely personable and made sure we had a memorable experience. We highly recommend this tour! Thanks again!
The Taste of SF, Combo Tour: Muir Woods & Sausalito + Half-Day Wine Country, was perfect for a day in San Francisco!! My Husband and I stopped by the city for a day during our honeymoon trip, and we absolutely loved this tour!! It covered everything we wanted to do around the area, and our tour guides/drivers were incredible. They were so knowledgeable of the area and the wine scene, and they seemed to truly enjoy their work, which made the tours that much more incredible! Definitely recommend this tour to anyone stopping by SF!
Our tour guide was Jerry who was very knowledgeable and informative. He was excellent. He picked us up at our hotel and explained what we were seeing as he drove through town, including fascinating facts like where Joe Dimaggio grew up and the park where he learned to play baseball. Jerry prepared us for the National Park, explaining the history of the park's founding and addition and of the people involved. He was a wealth of information. Since tour guides are barred from accompanying guests into the park, he prepared us for what to expect. On the way to Sausalito, Jerry explained facts about some of the things we had seen, including facts about the gum trees and why they had been planted and why the redwoods successfully withstood fires and how the blackened trunks date back to fires over a hundred and fifty years ago. In Sausalito he recommended a specific ice cream shop that was a hit with the group, especially to our grandchildren, and to their grandfather. If you take this tour and I do hope that you get to, try to get Jerry as your tour guide if you can.
We had a wonderful experience. Jerry, our guide was very kind and explained each place very well. We had a lof of fun and saw so many beautiful places, all in one day🤗

The wooden forest is a must see. We got a close up to the Golden Gate Bridge for a beautiful picture. Sonoma city is lovely and the wine tasting was great. This was an amazing tour and the guides were very professional and knowledgeable. Thanks

We loved the tour! Our guide Mike made the tour exciting. However, there was no advanced notification (email or text) that the wine tour has been canceled. We only found out on Sunday late afternoon (5pm) when we called about the pick-up time at our hotel.
The Muir Woods, Sausalito and Wine Country Tour provided by a Taste of San Francisco Tours was wonderful. Both of the tour operators where knowledgeable, professional, and ensured we had a wonderful time on our tour. I would highly recommend this combo tour which will introduce you to other areas of San Francisco, Sausalito, Sonoma, and Nappa which you will want to come back and visit. Walking through Muir Woods was AWESOME! A quiet peaceful place (outside of a view very loud humans) in nature. This is worth the casual walk through to see some of the redwoods.
Had a really great time with my children on this trip. My only suggestion would be to make the stop in Sausalito a half hour longer in order to allow for a sit down lunch.

Jerry our driver for the Sonoma wine tour was informative and very friendly . Both wineries were great! My only issue was for the price the admission for Muir Woods and both wineries should have been included (only one wine testing was) we bought wine at the other so we did t have to pay for tasting fee. Also there was a lack of communication for our first leg of trip so our afternoon tour driver had to wait 15 minutes for us because morning driver told us wrong time to meet in Salsaulito. We also didn’t get to tip morning driver because we didn’t see him again before boarding afternoon bus . If the trip was divided into two different tours - we should be informed how to tip or take care of first driver . All and all, it was a great tour! (Just a few kinks the tour company needs to improve on !)
