Columbia Icefield Tour med Glacier Skywalk från Banff

It was thrilling and a pleasant trip . The Brewster staff was very professional yet friendly. The live commentary by the driver, Mr Gerald and his teammate, Mr Nolan was very informative. They were very polite, accommodating and knowledgeable. We were amazed to know about the history and geography of the places , they shared. The information about. While pick up, we would have missed the right bus , however, driver of another Brewster bus, Mr Thomas, went above and beyond to help us, made a run to the correct stop , contacted the staff and ensured, we get to enjoy the tour, which was difficult without his help, We thoroughly enjoyed the trip as the carrier was clean, air-conditioned and spacious. We also got bonus chance to visit Lake Louis and Peyto Lake and surprise refreshments on the bank of flowing waters which was a cherry on the top. Truly appreciate the entire team of Viator, pursuit and Brewster for a well-organized, safe, enjoyable and memorable trip. Would highly recommend everyone to avail their best in class services. I wish the entire team all the very success.

My wife and I, as part of a tour group, took the Columbia Icefield Tour Glacier Skywalk. It was an amazing experience. Our Driver/Guide, Owen, was super friendly, professional and talented in both safely transporting us to and from the Glacier, as well as adding interesting information about the Glacier and the surrounding area! He added information about the unique experience of driving up and onto a glacier with the special trucks (the only ones of its kind in existence!) they use. It was an amazing experience!

Our first time in Canada and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience on this tour. Very well organised, we didn't feel rushed, there were no big crowds of people, and the scenery was amazing. All admission fees and lunch were included in our tour package, so it was very stream lined. The length of stay on the Glacier was just right, as once you are up there, the only thing to do was take in the incredible views. Also want to recommend Colin as the best bus driver, who made our day a lot more entertaining and informative along with his tour guide Rebecca. Thanks Colin for entertaining us between stops and getting us safely from Lake Louise to Banff.

I was not looking forward to this tour when I booked it. Boy was that a mistake. To. Was a fantastic driver. His mix of facts and story telling during the 11 hours made this trip! Nick was a great tour guide. Always willing to take a picture and keep us on schedule. The day didn't exactly match the itinerary provide but that is OK because it was so much more.

My wife and myself went with this company and had a great experience, Colin and Mikayla were great hosts and would highly recommend them.

Scenery was breathtaking, Amy and Scot were fantastic who went out of their way to ensure everyone enjoyed the trip. Great and interesting commentary with a successful hunt for beats was the icing on the cake. Certainly made some memories that will last a lifetime.

This is a long, long, long day tour with most of the time in the bus, but the scenery along the way is magnificent, the Skywalk, a breathtaking experience and the time walking in the glacier is a once in a lifetime experience. Included in the price is a buffet lunch provided at the Tourist Centre at the foot of the glacier, it was without doubt the most vile meal that I’ve been offered, cold food, a limited selection and what was available was disgusting. After consuming this horror meal, you complete the glacier walk and then commence the long, long drive back to Banff. Barely 10 minutes after commencing the return journey I had to ask the bus driver if he could stop at the first available toilet facility where both myself and my wife relieved ourselves of that lunch and that continued after returning to our Hotel, all through the night and the entire following day, I have never experienced diarrhoea like it. I apportion none of this criticism on Brewster, I directed it solely to the people/Company running the Tourist Centre, on the contrary, our bus driver Colin and the Tour guide Mikayla were absolutely wonderful, so informative on the tour and so sympathetic to my plight. I’d recommend this Tour, but, be prepared for a long day of driving, as for the included lunch, forget it and save yourself a gastro nightmare, take food with you.

Fantastic experience. Highly recommend.

This tour lasted approximately 11 hours in total, but the actual time spent at the main attractions felt quite limited. At the Columbia Icefield, you only get around 25 minutes on the ice itself, and it's restricted to a fenced-off area. The Skywalk is also quite short and, in my opinion, not as impressive as the photos suggest. Lunch was good, and our driver, Gerald, was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and shared some fantastic stories throughout the day. However, for our family, the day felt far too long for the amount of time spent at the destinations. We spent roughly 3.5 hours this morning picking up guests from various hotels before even heading towards the Icefield. We also didn't stop at Peyto Lake or Crowfoot Glacier for photos- both were only pointed out as we drove past. One thing that was particularly disappointing was that Viator advertises this as a tour with no more than 14 travellers, yet our bus had well over 45 people. I would have appreciated reading an honest review like this before booking. While the scenery is undeniably beautiful and Gerald did an excellent job, the overall experience didn't provide enough time at the attractions to justify such a long day.
