- Öppettider och sista inträdestider för Colosseum och Forum Romanum varierar beroende på säsong. Från 30 mars till 30 september stänger byggarbetsplatserna kl. 19:15 (sista noteringen kl. 18:15), från 1 oktober till 25 oktober stänger byggarbetsplatserna kl. 18:30 (sista noteringen kl. 17:30) och från 26 oktober till 28 februari stänger byggarbetsplatserna kl. 16:30 (sista noteringen kl. 15:30).
- Observera att besöksordningen kan variera beroende på biljetttillgänglighet, crowd management och väderförhållanden.
- Under sommarmånaderna rekommenderas hatt och vattenflaska. Vattenpåfyllningsstationer finns på plats.

It’s a self paced tour on your own. The place is very busy but was great to see. Our ticket did not include the floor, which we were disappointed about. Make sure you book.
Biggest let down. “Here are your tickets and download the audio guide.” Almost every direction is blocked. Impressive attraction. Poor service. Not worth a penny. Buy a live guided tour if you wish to be tortured there.

Our staff provides the official admission tickets together with the instructions necessary to access the audioguide, allowing visitors to explore the archaeological area independently and at their own pace. Regarding your comment about directions being blocked, the routes inside the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill are established and managed directly by the archaeological park. Certain pathways or areas may occasionally be closed or redirected due to preservation work, security requirements, crowd management, or other operational reasons. Unfortunately, these decisions are entirely outside our control. Nevertheless, we are genuinely sorry that you felt lost during your visit. A self-guided experience should still feel clear and enjoyable, and we appreciate your comments regarding the instructions provided. Make sure you read the tour when you pick it. It was very confusing. Our tickets said Colosseum, but it wouldn’t let us in the Colosseum.

The tickets and hand off were very easy. I underestimated the heat of the day. We downloaded the app for the audio guide but our phones would not load to listen along. Still great just some small hiccups.
