Tour La Carbonera from La Cabana Ecohotel
This is an experience for kids older than 8 years old. Edward who works with La Cabana is an experience tour coordinator. It is a long day as the driving is intense.
My flights were delayed and Edward and the manager of La Cabana Maria Camila helped us rescheduling our tours. The food at the hotel is excellent I contacted the hotel after the earthquake and they didn't have any damage but the airport and Salento did.

Experience to do absolutely
Beautiful and unique experience in the valley of the cocora with the wonderful and prepared guide of Nicolaj and the driver Brian, both very kind and friendly. Excellent day including lunch in a typical Salento surrounded by nature and animals and birds of all kinds. Highly recommended!

Great guide
Our guide Juan Manuel made all the difference. Extremely knowledgeable, great English and extremely engaging. The hike itself was beautiful and I’d highly recommend it.

A must see!
Yaz was an absolutely incredible guide! She was knowledgeable, professional, but most of all, she was friendly. By the end of the day, she was like a member of the family. She had a great itinerary and organized our transportation from our hotel in Pereira as well as our meals during this amazing day.
The tour she took us on of the Cocora Valley was gorgeous and is a must-see for anyone visiting this region of Colombia. The landscape is unlike any you've visited before. The town of Salento is colorful and friendly as well.

An amazing tour! Must do!
The tour was amazing - Andres was an incredible tour guide and we learned so much from him! Daniel, our driver, was super friendly and a very good driver in busy traffic conditions. We really appreciated Andres reaching out to suggest an earlier start so that we didn’t get stuck in the traffic. That was a life saver and we are so grateful that we listened to him as otherwise we would have wasted a lot of time in traffic. It was a great tour of the Cocora valley and Salento, and we even squeezed in extra stop for a local lunch. 10/10 recommend!
