Cliffs of Moher & the Burren Tour från Galway

Vi avgår från Galway kl. 10.00 och börjar turen med att utforska Burrenregionen. Första stoppet är Dunguaire Castle och Kinvara, där vi tar cirka 15 minuter att se utsidan av slottet. Fortsätter till Poulnabrone Dolmen, en av de äldsta religiösa platserna i Irland med sina 5800 år gamla, gör vi ytterligare ett kort stopp på cirka 10 - 15 minuter. Vi stannar sedan i den pittoreska fiskebyn Doolin för att njuta av lite lunch i ca 45 - 50 minuter (lunch ingår INTE i biljettkostnaden). Efter det kommer vi fram till Cliffs of Moher där vi har ett stopp på 2 timmar ledig tid. Detta är dagens höjdpunkt med gott om tid att gå längs klippkanten och njuta av en av de mest otroliga naturplatserna i världen! När vi är klara återvänder vi till Galway via Coast Road med spektakulär utsikt över Aranöarna och Galway Bay, och återvänder till Galways centrum klockan 18:15.

Our guide Gary was fantastic! Always had a story or fun fact to share during the drive. The journey to the Cliffs was filled with beautiful stops and views. We had enough time to walk around and take in the sights at the Cliffs and at every stop along the way.
A great experience! TOMMY was our tour guide and told us the best stories along the route. Highly educational and learned so many things never knew, especially about the geographical history of Ireland and the bond between American Choctaw natives and Irish!
Full-day tour with a series of short and long stops. The longest stop was at the Cliffs of Moher. Many buses are parked in the bus parking lot there. So there is a lot of competition. However, it is advantageous to start from Galway, as the journey from here is the shortest. My expectation was to quickly experience the Cliffs of Moher and gain insight into the region, relying on the knowledge of a local provider. These expectations were completely met; in fact, I heard many interesting stories about the land and its people. I had to concentrate to follow along, so it was good that the tour guide asked everyone at the beginning to be considerate of those for whom English is not the first language, for example, by refraining from disruptive phone conversations - which everyone adhered to 😊 - Thank you for that. I gladly recommend this professional organizer. Perhaps the best moment was when he reacted to light and weather effects that cannot be planned in advance (stopping, allowing people to get out) and thus conveyed a deeper understanding of the beauty of Irish nature.
Our driver and guide Gary was so funny and knowledgeable. We got to see wonderful sites and had a great day.

If you're visiting Galway, book this tour. From the moment we arrived, everything was incredibly well organized. The meeting point was easy to find, making for a stress-free start to the day. Our driver and guide, Gary, was kind, funny, and exceptionally knowledgeable. He shared so much history, local folklore, and fascinating facts throughout the journey that the drive itself became just as memorable as the destinations. The route through the Burren and the Cliffs of Moher was absolutely breathtaking, and we were lucky enough to have mostly good weather with only a brief shower along the way. One of my favourite memories from my entire trip to Ireland was enjoying proper fish and chips by the roadside while sipping a Guinness after taking in the incredible scenery. It's one of those moments I'll never forget. I can't recommend Galway Tour Company highly enough. If you're visiting Galway and want to experience some of Ireland's most spectacular landscapes while learning from an engaging local guide, this tour is an absolute must.
This was a wonderful tour that gave us ample time to explore the cliffs, stopped for an efficient lunch, and included two other interesting historic stops as well. Our driver was friendly and professional.

Great tour guide! His choice to stop for lunch at a local restaurant instead of the cafeteria at the Cliffs was brilliant. We were so lucky that the heavy fog cleared and we had a prefect view of the Cliffs! Spectacular!!
