Vår Plantation-turné ger insikter om kaffeodling och spårar processen för kaffebönan från plantage till kopp. Turen börjar med en kort promenad genom plantagen. Längs den här leden får besökarna lära sig om kaffeplantornas tillväxt, från plantor i plantskolor till det att de planteras och plockas i odlingarna. Turnén avslutas med ett besök i värdens hus och lär dig om olika blandningar och provsmakning av kaffesmakerna som Coorg har att erbjuda. Turen genomförs av en lokal bonde som har erfarenhet av odling i mer än 20 år.

Disappointed with the tour. Did not get to lean much. The coffee plantation had no infrastructure. The tour was very basic
Hi Amrit, We are surprised by this review . We always ensure we provide quality and informative tour as our tour review speaks. However, On ground we know that you spent 30 minutes in the plantations and 30 minutes in our experience center. So altogether 1 hour tour and it was unfortunate that you didn't learn anything for such long duration . Coffee Plantations generally will not have infrastructure . Its all about plants and trees and sun drying once we harvest .Also, the tour guide took the review on spot and you had mentioned that the tour was good. Hopefully, next time we can make the tour memorable !
The tour was really amazing and Sangeeta, the person who took us to the tour had a very deep understanding and knowledge of the entire process of coffee from the seed to the powder we use in our house.
Fascinating experience to visit the plantation..n see firsthand how coffee is made..it was really pleasant..miss Sangeeta explained the entire process with a lot of patience

It was really interesting to see the views on the tours, but we were expecting more information. Staff was friendly and kind.
Nestled amidst a serene landscape in Coorg, the organic coffee plantation tour and experience center we had the pleasure of visiting was a delightful immersion into nature's bounties. We were captivated by the lush greenery that surrounded us. Our guide Mr Pratham took us on a beautiful trek and showed us around the coffee plants while providing information about their organic farming methods. We saw many other plants like pepper spice and turmeric that were grown and harvested on the plantation too. The highlight of the tour was their Experience centre in Madikeri, where we were shown different methods and equipment to brew coffee and their roasting process. The organic coffee plantation tour and experience centre exceeded my expectations and would recommend you to give them a visit if in Coorg.
I booked the Coffee Plantation Tour and it was really a great experience. It had pick up & drop location from my home stay. The entire tour was handled by Mr. Sudarshan from the Hilldale resorts. He showed the 2 very famous types of coffee plants- Arabica & Robusta. He also explained the stages of coffee making. The tour involved a trek which was also very exciting where you walk across the coffee plantation amidst the beautiful hills. It’s highly recommended during one’s visit to Coorg. They also have stay facility available, a dinner+ Coffee plantation tour which I am sure must be beautiful. Thanks team!
