Circo Maximo entrébiljett + virtuell upplevelse

Beskrivning

Deplorable welcome. Totally incompetent team. They took my ID and exchanged it with others. The consequences of their actions are not even borne. Absolutely fleeing. Unacceptable. A special mention to the inefficient team that manages the site on site - Terrible welcome. Completely incompetent team. They confiscated my ID card and swapped it with others. The consequences of their actions are not even acknowledged. Avoid at all costs. Absolutely unacceptable. Special mention to the ineffective team managing the site on location - Accoglienza terribile. Team totally incompetent.
Welcoming is very average – it seems to disturb the Welcoming staff more than anything else, the bearded gentleman at the counter in particular is downright unpleasant ... the young women who take care of the augmented reality visit are much more friendly, thanks to them. It was very hot and I would not recommend this experience in such heat. No shadowy spots and the helmet on the face does not help. My daughter and I have learned a lot about this Circo Massimo though the image quality could have been better.
No one to get the ticket or to the RV point. Just a huge closed inaccessible construction site with barriers.
We were told Trip Advisor weren't authorised to sell tickets and they wouldn't accept the the ticket I showed them. This resulted in a bit of a row - as I had multiple confirmations from Trip Advisor and a ticket etc. One of the ladies suggested that other companies selling tickets were a scam. We were incredulous asking her if she was suggesting that Trip Advisor were a scam. She was swift to retract this when I tried to film her saying it - and was so angry that she made me delete the video! It was a horrible introduction. The chap at the ticket desk eventually decided to let us pay another 10 euro and get in - he realised he was keen not to escalate things further and accepted. Ironically, the children aged 10 and 13 didn't enjoy it very much and felt sick, so we only saw three films. Not such a great experience. Trip Advisor needs to resolve this issue for future tourists.
Great experience with 3D headset that guides us through the tour and recreates the Circo Massimo of the time. Very fun for children.
If you are hesitant to try the virtual experience, I advise you to do so. Booking online super easy. On D-Day, give an ID in exchange for a VR headset and an audio headset (they do in French) and it’s gone for 45 min. It’s not in 4K but it’s still nice and well explained. The course is arrowed. Once you get to the sign, you “scan” it with your headset, you get close to the barrier (the headset gives you time to do it) and the immersion begins. Once the explanation is complete, the audio tells you the next point. Everything is arrowed and if you are lost, the staff is present to guide you. We had a fear of moving “blindly” with a helmet screwed onto our head but this is not the case. Hygiene-wise, they thought about the mask to put on at eye level. It gives a certain look 😂 Note that if the weather does not allow, you will receive a cancellation email. (This is well noted during purchase).
The experience is interesting and very educational for both adults and young people The technique could be improved
The experiment started badly because we had to exchange the voucher sent by email for tickets. We were denied entry. I had to reach a manager by phone who finally sent us real tickets via whatsapp for a new schedule. Really interesting attraction even if the image quality deserves to be better and the welcome more pleasant and compassionate!
Interesting. An even more appreciated experience thanks to the virtual headset which allows you to really see the evolution of the different constructions over time. To do with a guide or with the virtual helmet.
Was very expensive when booking via TripAdvisor. Would have been much cheeper (50€) when directly buying tickets there.
