Referred from the Namchuncheon Tourist information office the Tourist Taxi office is adjacent to the Chuncheon Railway station Tourist information office. In a nutshell 20,000 ₩ gets you up to three hours in a very nice taxi, with a choice of up to three locations to visit from a large number of options. Up to four passengers for this amount…. Very efficient process, you pay the driver, and they take you where you want to go. If you want to go more places you can negotiate at the office- as the drive is given a printed sheet with what you choose. We chose the Soyanggang Skywalk-a not really scary glass floored pier over the lake, then to the Dam above the town, and finally to the Gubongsan Observatory - really it’s a good lookout point overviewing Chuncheon -which is at a rather classy cafe called Santorini.. then Mr Park our loquacious (well not really) and safe driver took us back to where in town we wanted to be dropped off…. It was really good value and efficient way of seeing stuff.
