Vanessa was a very entertaining and knowledgeable guide, taking us to many different chocolate shops while also teaching us about the differences among them. Along the way, she also shared many insights about the art, history, and architecture of Zurich. She also helped us understand the Swiss culture. She s fluent in five languages and can definitely communicate well with anyone! We had a really fun and delicious time, and highly recommend both Vanessa and her chocolate walking tour of Zurich.
Vanessa is an EXCELLENT guide as well as a connoisseur of all things Swiss AND chocolate. She is passionate about her tours and makes them fun, educational, & entertaining for all. We had just 24 hours in Zurich… My goal in booking this tour was to see the best parts of Zurich up close (for mom & dad) and to sample the worlds finest chocolate (for my 3 teen/preteen daughters). Vanessa is an excellent guide, sharing interesting yet brief stories at each location and exposing us to various forms and flavors of the city’s best chocolate. I had been afraid my girls might get bored with the city history, but Vanessa connected with them and adjusted to ensure they stayed engaged. Highly recommended for families, or anyone who loves chocolate.
Expect streets with inclines. Chocolate was beyond good! Loved it! Had quite a few different chocolates to try!
Daisy was a wonderful tour guide. We her guiding us through the city. Her choice of chocolatiers was great which was enhanced by her knowledge of the history.
My tour was lead by Vasi who was very knowledgable and super fun! Great way to learn about and sample all the best chocolate makers in Switzerland and get a mini tour of the old town. Great to do solo. Bring a little Tupperware/cup if you can ;)
What a fabulous way to spend a few hours in Zurich. Vasi, our guide, was fantastic. He provided an interactive and very informative tour. The chocolate was all incredibly delicious, so hard to pick a favourite. Highly recommend this tour!
My husband and I love chocolate and loved this specialty chocolate tour. Our guide, Vasi, also gave us some historical and educational facts about Zurich and Switzerland in general. Recommend! The walking is not rigorous.
Fantastic walking tour all around Zurich to get to the best chocolate tasting shops. Vanessa was so much fun not only provided information on history of each chocolatier but also the history of the City places we were in. Thank you Vanessa.
Vanessa was an amazing tour guide and was flexible with me being a solo person on the tour. She was so knowledgeable about Zurich history and chocolate. She took me to places off the beaten path and unique to Zurich. Would recommend 100%!
