Chittor Fort eller Chittorgarh är en av de största forten i Indien. Det är en UNESCO världsarvslista. Fortet var huvudstaden i Mewar och ligger i den nuvarande staden Chittor. Vijaya Stambha är ett imponerande segermonument beläget i Chittor Fort i Chittorgarh, Rajasthan, Indien. Tornet byggdes av Mewar kungen, Rana Kumbha, år 1448 för att fira sin seger över de kombinerade arméerna i Malwa och Gujarat ledd av Mahmud Khilji. Tornet är tillägnad Vishnu.

I long awaited to go to Chittaurgarh fort as it symbolises Rajputs bravery moreover queens’ legendary tales of self immolation to protect their honour. Our guide Vinord did an excellent job narrating the history beautifully. Very much enjoyed our last fort in this visit to north India.
