Denna heldagstur gör att vi kan besöka den norra delen av ön Chiloé. Efter att ha navigerat Chacaokanalen i 30 minuter, observerat en stor variation av fåglar och sjölejon, kommer vi fram till staden Chacao. Vi åker mot Ancud, sedan åker vi 28 km sydväst om Ancud för att besöka naturmonumentet Puñihuil-öarna är ett vildt område som skyddas av staten, där fiskare har anslutit sig och förvandlat turismen genom att genomföra guidade turer, navigationstjänster och restauranger. För att se en koloni av Humboldt- och Magellanska pingviner är det nödvändigt att ta en båt (navigering ingår ej) längs Stilla havets kust. Vi kommer att fortsätta turnera ön och passera genom en lång ensam strand där vi kommer att se havet i all sin prakt. När vi återvänder kommer vi att besöka den näst mest befolkade i Chiloé, staden Ancud, där vi kommer att besöka dess torg, marknaden, hantverksmässan, kyrkostiftelsens vänner och det berömda San Antonio-fortet.

Chiloe Island is off the coast of the mainland about 15 miles. The island is HUGE at 90 miles long and 45 miles wide. Once on the island all the features of the mainland with town / farm / businesses, make you think you are on the mainland. We observe a lot of the wildlife existing way south on the content. There, we board small boats via a loading contraption (keep our feet dry) to a boat located just off the beach

It was a great and very informative trip. Ingrid is super knowledgeable guide - she probably knows all the birds in that island and Orland is a super careful driver. Penguins are super great part of the trip. And churches … yes in case of any doubts Ingrid would tell you all you need to know. Fantastic experience. Our kids loved it!
Very good tour, our guide took us to Chiloe island. It started raining we took a scenic route to Andy’s. There we toured a church and a museum. The penguin tour got cancelled but we still went to the beach where we take the boat to see the Penguins and there on the rocks we did see many of them. Overall both the guide and the driver showed us a great time despite the bad weather. Thanks so much!
