Lark was an excellent guide, and this ended up being one of the most unique experiences of our trip to Chicago. We happened to take the tour during a blistering heat wave after several days of walking, so our feet were definitely feeling it! Even so, Lark kept us engaged from beginning to end with fascinating stories and a great sense of humor. The information was simply too interesting to miss. Rather than just sharing entertaining mob and ghost stories, Lark did a fantastic job explaining how these events shaped Chicago's history and identity. His perspective added depth to the tour and made the city's darker history feel both educational and captivating. If you're looking for something beyond the typical sightseeing experience, this tour is absolutely worth it. We'd definitely recommend it!
Lark was the best! Learned a bunch of fun and interesting history about Chicago. We were a bit worried about it being a couple hours long, but it went super fast and was the perfect amount of walking and stops. Couldn’t recommend more!
Guide was an amazing story teller. Kept everything moving, never a dull moment. Highly recommend 10/10! Great for anyone local or visiting for sure!!
Our guide Lark was very good and provided a lot of interesting information, during our short tour. I had a 13 year-old with me who actually enjoyed it and found the portion of the tour we were able to do interesting. We had to cut our tour short due to inclement weather (rain and thunderstorm, so it was not safe to do a walking tour). Lark provided us the information to either rebook or request a refund. Unfortunately I was not able to rebook until I requested a refund. I received a refund within 24 hours. The next time I return to Chicago, I will definitely rebook this tour to get the full 90+ minute experience.
Excellent walking tour of Chicago. Lark was a phenomenal guide who brought to life the spicy history of the city. Intrigue, gangsters, and buckets of blood, oh my!
Had a great tour with Lark! We learned about Chicago’s history and haunted sites, with an emphasis on the prohibition era and the mob. It was a fun way to learn about the city and our guide was knowledgeable on the topic, as well as able to share tips on food and entertainment in the area. Highly recommend!
