Dave had a wealth of knowledge and welcoming energy. The experience was cool with random tidbits of not just food history but also little did you know facts on the train. For the price for my husband and I - it included our train passes and of course the food! Def made first time to Chicago amazing

Best Chicago food tour ! We have taken Food tours for the past 15 years. This is one of the best we’ve ever had many thanks to Chad, who gave us the best advice and the best experience learning about the best food to Chicago.
Dash was a great guide. Really engaging and informative speaker, who has also mastered the art of walking backwards! Well-paced tour, got to see some things we definitely wouldn’t have found by ourselves.
I would not recommend Intrepid Urban Adventures Chicago as a company to do business with. I purchased a tour for myself and 6 out of state colleagues. Due to an unforeseeable issue the morning of the tour, two of our colleagues had to return back to work and could not attend the tour. I reached out to Urban Adventures to ask for a credit to use for future tours or a voucher to gift to others for the services not rendered. Not only was I denied a credit or voucher, I was offered a 15% discount to use toward future services. Definitely not the way to foster future business. I would not recommend using this company for tours. Find a company that is willing to work with clients who have reasonable requests. As for the tour itself. It was okay. The designated stops were very basic. Again, I think there are better tour companies available that are willing to work with clients to create future business.

Dash was a fantastic guide. He was enthusiastic, informative, friendly, and knowledgeable. The food stops were delicious. We truly enjoyed our walking adventure around the city and iconic food spots.
We booked a private food tour and we had a lot of fun. Not only that we talked about the food but we knew a lot about the history of the City. We came here with 0 expectations yet we were surprised of how good the art and culture here is. Dash was very accommodating, he asked about our preferences and he gave us extra tips for the rest of our stay.
Our tour guide Don was excellent! Very knowledgeable about the history of food as well as Chicago in general. The walk from restaurant to restaurant was easy and very enjoyable even on a wintry day. My 18-year-old son and I really enjoyed the tour. Something good for families with older children.
