Stig av bussen och in i litteraturhistorien med ett 45 minuters stopp i Haworth, en charmig bergsby mest känd som Brontë-systrarnas hem. Högst upp i byn ligger Brontë Prästgårdsmuseum (endast exteriörvisning), där Charlotte, Emily och Anne Brontë bodde och skrev sina världsberömda romaner. Kyrkogården och närliggande St Michael och All Angels Church erbjuder slående fotomöjligheter och en lugn stund av eftertanke.
Är du en ostälskare? Wensleydale Creamery är ett måste för matälskare och alla som är nyfikna på Yorkshires rika kulinariska arv. Krämeriet i sig är en charmig blandning av tradition och modernt hantverk. Från utsidan smälter stenhusen sömlöst in i landskapet, medan det inuti ligger en värld av smak och historia. Besökare kan utforska Cheese Shop, där du kan prova och köpa den berömda Yorkshire Wensleydale-osten, tillsammans med ett brett urval av lokala och hantverksmässiga sorter. Medan du är på Creamery, dra nytta av antingen kaféet eller i hotellets restaurang för att upprätthålla dig själv för resten av dagen.
Stig av bussen in i hjärtat av Yorkshire Dales och upplev en av regionens mest spektakulära natursevärdheter. Hållplatsen Hardraw Force Waterfall erbjuder besökare omedelbar tillgång till det fantastiska landskapet och det rika arvet i Wensleydale. Bara en kort promenad från hållplatsen, genom det historiska Green Dragon Inn, ligger Hardraw Force - Englands högsta enskilda vattenfall. Gömd i en trädbevuxen klyfta, är denna dramatiska 100-fots kaskad en verkligt oförglömlig syn. Oavsett om det är i fullt flöde efter regn eller om det försiktigt spiller över kanten en lugn sommardag, erbjuder vattenfallet en stund av lugn och vördnad i lika mått. Med sina kullerstensgator, stenbyggda butiker och livliga lokala charm är Hawes en höjdpunkt på alla resor genom Yorkshire Dales. Mitt i hjärtat av staden ligger Hawes saluhall, där lokala handlare erbjuder allt från handgjorda hantverk och presenter till färskvaror och bakverk. Omgivningen av marknadsområdet är mysiga tesalonger, traditionella pubar och oberoende butiker som säljer lokal konst, friluftsutrustning och Yorkshire godsaker. Bakgrunden är fantastisk: böljande kullar, stenmurar och floden Ure som slingrar sig genom dalen.
När bussen närmar sig Ribbleheadviadukten spänner den över 400 meter med 24 massiva stenvalv och står stolt mot bakgrund av Whernside, den högsta toppen i Yorkshire. Viadukten byggdes på 1870-talet för järnvägen Settle–Carlisle och är fortfarande ett fungerande stycke järnvägshistoria – och med lite tur kan du till och med fånga ett tåg som glider över dess topp.
dramatiskt svängd kalkstensklippa som reser sig 80 meter (260 fot) över dalbottnen. Denna slående klippformation har formats av uråldriga isvatten och har fängslat besökare i århundraden – och till och med gjort ett stjärnframträdande i Harry Potter och dödsrelikerna.

What an absolutely amazing day in Yorkshire! It was packed with adventure, stunning views, and so many special memories. A huge part of what made it so enjoyable was our driver Adrian - he was not only professional and friendly but also extremely knowledgeable, sharing fascinating insights and stories throughout the trip. Had a wonderful day on the BusyBus, Lee the driver was so knowledgeable, I enjoyed all the information he gave us before each stop. Loved the waterfall at Hardraw Force Re: Kevin Kostner was filmed having a wash underneath the waterfall in a nude 🫣 Enjoyed the music Lee played of artists that were from Yorkshire, I love Human League, ABC and Robert Powel. It was so tranquil just watching the world go by, great views looking out of the bus window. What a great name of one of the streets in Howarth, ‘Shirley Street’ 🤣🤣 Thank you again Lee for a fab day we had in the Yorkshire Dales and Howarth 😀😀

We never had a holiday but wanted something special for my son and me. This day out was perfect! The views we seen the things we learnt were amazing! Should a fantastic place to go would definitely go again! The driver Adrian was so lovely, thoughtful and helpful. He couldn't have been faulted. He made the experience brilliant for everyone all was included and all had so much fun. The trip was very thought out , even the music and information was organised to fix when we were at certain places! Brilliant! Didn't feel like we just got on a bus and was driven around. Adrian by the end of the trip felt like a friend and I am so grateful for the way he was with my 9 year old son. The people we met were also so lovely. Would love to do a Christmas trip ! Christmas music going ! Fun and laughter! Will watch out for something like that! Thanks again busybus! We will see you again

We went on this great trip on 30th June. Although the weather could have been kinder, it didn't stop us from having a great day out. Stuart (our driver) was so friendly and his knowledge of Yorkshire was incredible and certainly kept us entertained throughout the journey with his tales and music of Yorkshire. We passed through some beautiful countryside and little Yorkshire villages with stop offs at little tea shops and pubs !! Thank you Stuart for a wonderful day. We would certainly recommend this trip.
