Our guide Claire was wonderful and informative. She knew a great deal about the city. Only I 4 stars because almost everything was closed for a holiday
What a fabulous little walking tour of Cherbourg Laurence provided for us!! Had no idea what to expect but we were taken to all the locals favourite streets/ market and eateries! Laurence very knowledgeable about Cherbourg history and the surrounding area- highly recommend 🤩
We spent two hours in the company of Laurent, who was a very kind and generous host. He used his own vehicle to take us to a couple of points of interest outside the town, followed by a very pleasant stroll through the town, swapping stories, with Laurent pointing out things as we passed by. The pace was perfect, and left us feeling we need to visit for longer next time, when we would be more than happy to meet with Laurent again. Highly recommend.
Subadin was a great guide. He was friendly and knowledgeable and he arranged to have good weather too!!
Maithri was a terrific guide to her adopted city. She was so enthusiastic and ready to take us wherever we wanted to go. I highly recommend booking with Lokafy, especially if all the guides are as delightful as this one. I feel like we have a friend in Cherbourg should we ever return
Maithri, gave us such a lovely morning tour. She was so gracious to stop and interrupt the tour to let us look around different places we thought very interesting at our leisure. One of the highlights was the umbrella factory - what an interesting place! We enjoyed this tour very much.
The city of the sea is great and you have to stay by the sea. I recommend Tourlaville ́ c is quiet and close to Cherbourg in cotentin
Utah and Omaha beaches and museum were memorable. Sandra was informative and had a delightful personality.
Thomas was wonderful! Great personality, gave us a great feel for what the life is like in Cherbourg for people who live there. I would highly recommend him and his tour service!
