I met Lulu yesterday evening, and she is such a wonderful woman. I was really impressed by how much preparation she had done for our meeting—she shared so many thoughtful suggestions with me, and I felt truly touched by her care. Lulu took me to a unique Chinese medical bar, where we spent time chatting and enjoying the atmosphere. Later, we wandered through the streets of Chengdu, sharing our life stories until late into the night. It was not just a night out, but a genuine cultural exchange and a meaningful friendship.
I must say, it was the best nightlife experience I’ve had in Chengdu. That’s where I met my local friend Joanne, who took me to a left-wing bar. We ended up talking about our life confusions and hopes, and realized that we sometimes face similar challenges. Joanne is such a wise and inspiring person—I’m sure her business story will touch more and more people! Highly recommend this gem of Chengdu’s nightlife!
No doubt one of the highlights of my trip to China. Joanne is wonderful and I really felt dating a close friend. The tour is super flexible to the customer, not only in terms of schedules, but also to the schedule. Joanne contacted before to know my preferences and what wu would like to know. A real experience with local people. I've known places that aren't social networks and probably never would find. Bars with traditional presentations to bars that you can see your future. Sensational!! It's really a bridge connecting us with the locals

As I heard Chengdu is famous for its nightlife scene, I wanted to give it a go. Joanne from Bridge with Locals was very willing to accommodate all of my requests and also put forth some of her own suggestions when I wasn't sure in what to do. She very clearly has the experience here and I thoroughly enjoyed my night out with her! The city is beautiful in the late hours and I feel I got to do so much more in these hours than I would have if I tried to do it alone. Would recommend to anyone interested!
