För våra sportfans kör vi förbi Nascar Hall of Fame, Spectrum Center, Bank of America Stadium (hemmaplan för Carolina Panthers och Charlotte FC), och Truist Field (hemmaplan för Charlotte Knights). During our first visit to Charlotte during the July 4th weekend, my husband and I took a morning golf cart tour of Uptown. It was a nice tour despite really hot temps (low 90s in the morning). Our guide, Jonathan, was very knowledgeable and quite funny - in a wry sense of humor kind of way. He shared key Charlotte history, including colonial hustory and he explained why the downtown area is called "Uptown." Jonathan also included some important black history in his presentation, which is also Charlotte history. Jonathan pointed out sites (historical and new), museums and restaurants. He even took time after our tour to share additional insights about the city. Great tour. I highly recommend!
