Oavsett vilken nivå av uppskattning du har för Champagne kommer vi att anpassa turen så att den blir speciell för dig. Jag är ägare operatör, expert på Champagne och modersmål engelsktalande. Aldrig manus, alltid personlig, vi älskar helt enkelt att dela det bästa med Champagne och få dig att göra oförglömliga minnen på din dagsutflykt. Kom ensam, par, grupper av vänner och familjer. Det kommer att finnas lite historia, lite kultur, några vingårdar att utforska och mycket att lära sig om processerna. Höjdpunkten är naturligtvis att prova de olika champagnerna efter att ha lärt sig om dem. Allt är vettigt när du är där! Du kommer aldrig att titta på champagne på samma sätt efter denna tur. Träffa några producenter, bli förvånad över de stora husen, och om du är där vid skörden kommer du att uppleva den fantastiska juicen som kommer från en press!

Avresa från Starbucks Odeon där man kunde äta café och croissant i väntan på Champagne.
En nyligen restaurerad katedral där de flesta kungar sedan Klodvig kröntes är ett sant ögonblick att upptäcka. Alla glasmålningar ersattes med klassiska verk fram till dess att två bemärkta konstnärer moderniserade de historier som skulle berättas. Marc Chagall behöll mirakulöst nog sin stil och Imi Knoebel kommer att slå dig med imponerande kubisk färg. Jag kommer att berätta några detaljer så att när du anländer du ska göra en ganska snabb rundtur och vet vad du ska leta efter.
Beroende på schemaläggningsmöjligheterna kommer ett mellanstort till stort producentbesök att starta dagen. Det kan vara Lanson (en av mina favoriter) Pommery, Taittinger, Veuve Clicquot, Mumm, om på morgonen. På eftermiddagen kan det vara Mercier, Boizel, Moet & Chandon (ofta mätta) Charles Mignon, eller Nicolas Feuillatte i Chouilly. Om ingen finns att tillgå finns det massor av mindre att besöka med bra champagner att smaka. Ju längre tid du bokar i förväg desto större chans har du att få plats på de mer populära husen. Varje hus har något unikt, särskilt i vägen för sina källare.
Där idén om Champagne föddes. Än idag stämmer de metoder som Dom Pierre Perignon skrev. Kyrkan har en mycket viktig del i historien. Detta blir en guidad tur som är tillräckligt kort men viktig för förståelsen av Champagne och dess historia. Vi kör genom den pittoreska byn och går till picknickområdet för att ta bilder eller ha en picknick och eller dricka lite champagne.
Vi tar en biltur längs världens rikaste aveny. Du kommer att ha dina lunchalternativ här med lite tid för dig själv. Jag ska peka ut de bästa platserna, som vi kommer att ha gjort på vägen till Reims. OM det är fint väder kan en picknick väljas på den mest fantastiska utsiktsplatsen på Hautvillers. Lunchen skulle i så fall hämtas på ett lokalt bageri. Bordsduk, glas och allt är redo för det valet.
Besök en liten producent i en mycket up front intim turné. Ofta är detta dagens höjdpunkt! Du lär dig mycket, ser mycket och smakar mycket.
Återresa till Paris. Trafiken är vanligtvis bra fram till runt EuroDisney, efter det kan och är vanligtvis mycket tät. Du kan släppas av vid eller före Notre Dame-katedralen på väg tillbaka via Rive Droite från Pont d'Austerlitz eller upphämtningsstället.

Amazing full day Champagne experience to several different locations. Neil adjusted the tour to try a new house tour. It was absolutely Perfect! He is very knowledgeable with all the vineyards and took us to the best little spot in France. Highly recommend this trip if you have a day to sightsee.

We had the most wonderful day with Neil on this champagne tasting excursion! HIGHLY recommend! An amazing, personable tour. Been to France many times, but never had such a nice tour. Amazing champagne house visits and lots of nice history. The picnic lunch and drive through the vineyards put the day over the top. Don’t hesitate to book this tour.

Neil was a friendly and very knowledgeable guide. The vehicle was clean, comfortable and on time. The tour included the Notre Dame Cathedral in Reims, which is spectacularly beautiful with amazing stained glass and is a must see. The Champagne tastings were outstanding both in quality and quantity and included a memorable tour of a small family owned producer. We have been on many tours and this is as good as it gets.
Thank you for making this tour a great way to finish the season. Outside of tasting the rarest varietals of grapes (Petit Meslier and Pinot Blanc) non Malolactic conversion at Lanson both Black creation and Rosé) but also tasted some of the very grapes still on the vines that go into making champagne. Along the road we saw at least 50 dear 2 ducks, 1 goose, and 2 pheasants. To top it off checked in at Moët & Chandon to find Napolean's bi-corne beaver hat was still in the display window! Truly a pleasure to have you both out a second time, and with family. I was happy that we had customised the trip with the other group to have a special unplanned visit at Moët & Chandon in between. Young or a little older the vibe was making it a fun trip with a little on culture, past wars, current wine making business, and of course lots of fabulous wines tasted. Who knows maybe we could make a private tour with all the sites dedicated to WW1 where capitulation was signed, Monuments where the battle of the Marne etc. Champagne is so much more than just a great bubbly drink!
