Monica is a treat! Great fun, knowledgeable, generous. Even though the market wasn’t open we went to a local grocery and found all that we needed. Would love to spend another day with her!
Silvia was a pleasure and it is apparent that she is a host who loves what she does. Her knowledge of food and how ingredients work together is unique and special. She also catered to my requests of food restrictions and made considerate choices to make sure I would still enjoy our meal. The host was responsive, warm, and made it a beautiful and memorable experience for us. Thank you, Silvia!
We spent the day with chef Lunia, shopping for specialty’s of Lucca and then cooking a 4 course dinner at her lovely home. She was wonderful, a patient teacher instructing us through completing our delicious lunch. I highly recommend having this experience of shopping, cooking, sitting down for a meal while communicating in a different language. It was a special day!! Thank you Lunia and her son, her assistant.
Incredibly thankful for our cesarina, Antonietta, for welcoming us into her home (and her kitchen) to enjoy a phenomenal farm-fresh Italian meal. From the eggs, to the produce, olive oil, pasta, bread and wine, all were local, home-grown, and absolutely delicious! After 4 courses, we left with full stomachs and even fuller hearts from the generosity of our host ❤️
