Denna promenad gör att du kan få en utmärkt översikt över Rio genom att bläddra i dess historiska centrum där blanda barockkyrkor, koloniala byggnader och moderna byggnader eftersom det också är Rio's affärscentrum och grannskapet bohemiska Santa Teresa genom att komma åt den med den berömda gula spårvagnen och sedan vandra runt i din egen takt.

Presentation av torget med de största attraktionerna som Teatro Municipal (operahuset i Rio), Museu das Bellas Artes, La Camara Municipal, La Biblioteca Nacional, Le Teatro Odeon (den enda biografen på torget som fortfarande är i drift)
Vi går in i katedralen för att presentera dess arkitektur, dess historia, dess monumentala målade glasfönster
Vi passerar vid Largo Carioca för att presentera Sao Antonio-kyrkan och Sao Francisco da Penitencia, en av de vackraste barockkyrkorna i Brasilien och panoramautsikten från terrassen i dessa två kyrkor som ligger intill varandra.
Vi passerar genom gågatorna i gamla Rio för att nå denna plats som är ett av de äldsta kaféerna i Rio med sin art deco-stil som gör det till en ikonisk plats i Centro
Vi fortsätter vår vandring för att komma fram till torget den 15 november (proklamation av republiken) för att presentera för dig kyrkan Vår fru av karmeliterna, Paço kejserliga, rytterstatyn av general Osorio, skatteön och färjepir som serverar Niteroi och Paqueta Island i Guanabara Bay
Vi når sedan Pie X-torget vid gågatorna för att visa dig kyrkan Candaskineria, den olympiska boulevarden, CentrO Cultural do Banco do Brasil och casa França Brasil
Och vi fortsätter vår promenad till Saint Benoit-klostret som är en av de vackraste kyrkorna i Rio för att besöka det och berätta om dess historia.
Denna torg är en viktig kulturell plats eftersom det finns Museu de Amanha (morgondagens museum) som vi inte besöker men som är arkitektoniskt mycket intressant liksom konstmuseet i Rio med sin panoramaterrass på översta våningen som låter dig ha en otrolig utsikt över Maua-torget, Niteroi-bron, morgondagens museum ...
Denna väggmålning, som anses vara den största i världen, representerar 5 etniska grupper och producerades av Eduardo Kobra för de olympiska spelen
Vi går sedan tillbaka till Santa Teresa-spårvagnsstationen för att ta den berömda gula Bonde (spårvagnen) för att gå upp till Santa Teresa-distriktet. Det är en panoramavandring på cirka trettio minuter full av charm.
Promenera och runt Largo dos Guimaraes i hjärtat av Santa Teresa för att upptäcka sina hus från slutet av XIX: e, början av den XX: e, fina vyer, restauranger och barer som också gör detta distrikt känt.
Den ikoniska punkten Santa Teresa, tidigare hem för Laurinda Santos Lobo förvandlades till ett lusthus med en otrolig utsikt över Centro, Arches of Lapa, Christ och Botafogo
När vi lämnar Santa Teresa för att åka till Lapa vid foten av kullen kommer vi förbi den berömda mångfärgade trappan till George Selaron, den chilenska konstnären som skapade den på cirka tjugo år.
Vi fortsätter att promenera medan vi beundrar de flera graffiti som dekorerar murarna i detta distrikt för att nå bågarna i Lapa, den gamla Rio-akvedukten som går från XVIII och levererar vatten till staden Rio fram till slutet av XIX. Spårvagnen från passerar genom akvedukten för att komma till Santa Teresa

Excellent proposal that combines nature/culture/history Antoine very accompanying and facilitating for the booking and the problems I encountered to confirm my commitment. I recommend +++ D1: Tijuca Forest and Pedra Bonita Hiking D2: Lapa - Santa Teresa and Favela Santa Marta D3: historic centre My guide Rafael Franco Brazilian in perfect French knew his program very well. Very available, attentive, a lot of care during these 3 days. 26 years old but already a talented and competent guide on the whole program. The 3 excellent days. My memorable memories: the view from Pedra Bonita, the visit to the Favela that breaks the cliché of the Favelas and the entrance to the cathedral striking with emotion. To organize our stay in Rio de Janeiro as part of a first discovery of Brazil of 15 days, we went through the agency Good Guide in Rio. We started by defining the major stages with Antoine, according to our desires and our budget: the Corvado, the city center, the sugar loaf, a school in Samba, a favela, the neighborhoods of Lapa and Santa Teresa, the Tijuca forest... We made 3 days of visits with this agency. Our guide Philippe was great, he really wants to please his visitors. It adapts to demands and desires. It is interesting to take 2/3 days of visit in order to adapt to the weather (it happened to us) Philip changed our visit to Christ to ensure good weather..... We discovered Marta’s favela with Marco with great kindness and a big smile. Behind the scenes of the carnival are also a great visit. The last day in Petropolis is a change of scenery advised on Sunday. We recommend this agency to the top!!!!

We took a tour of the Centro district with Edmundo Montalvo, and it was absolutely fantastic! He is maybe the best guide we’ve ever had. So knowledgeable, intelligent, took us to see everything, including the cathedral, the famous steps, the trolley up to Santa Teresa, and more. Very sensitive and informative. We also had coffee at the oldest coffee house in Rio. I strongly recommend that you try to take a tour with Edmundo Montalba, whether it is the central tour or one of the other ones he does. He is really great!
