This experience was the highlight of our trip! I never imagined the stingrays to be that big and they were very friendly and eager to get on you! The tour guides were all very friendly and made sure everyone had a chance to experience or take pictures. Next was the starfishes which my toddler enjoyed the most just make sure you always keep the starfish UNDER the water! Then we finished with the caves. They were so beautiful and loved to hear our tour guides personal childhood stories when he explored the caves! But I do recommend to pack comfortable shoes and bring plenty of cold water or a fan because it is super humid in the caves we were all dying at the end. But still a fun memorable experience!
Nathan was a funny and knowledgeable guide. He got all the family engaged for the whole time. He was also a very good and patient photographer :). The caves are beautiful and we got to see several bat families resting (thank God!).
I get an email saying they canceled due to low attendance and I have to fight to get my money back, it should automatically be refunded!
Viator let me book the tour and then the tour operator cancelled the late afternoon the day before saying this tour is not offered on Sunday. Left me hanging to find a new excursion and still haven’t returned my money yet.
HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED!! I rarely write negative reviews but I booked this for my family because it was listed as Stingrays, Starfish AND Crystal Caves. It does state in the fine print that crystal caves are only available Friday and Saturday but it appears to be intentionally deceptive. There was no option to choose between the two choices. We didn't realize until the morning of our tour that the caves weren't included. MAJOR BUMMER especially because there are cheaper tours that we saw without the caves but we opted for this tour because it appeared to include the caves. They would not even entertain the idea of a partial refund. The staff was friendly and inviting on the tour but we didn't receive what we thought we booked. They should definitely label the tour appropriately and not have users comb through fine print to discover the caves aren't included.
They cancelled the caves trip with less than 24 hours notice. Which was main reason for the booking. Given short notice not able to book the sting rays and starfish with anyone else. Not able to provide transport between starfish and caves which meant we couldn’t get to them even though we had been forced to buy separate tickets. Misleading pick up location and they would not pick up from Airbnb. They did notrecognise our booking on arrival. Took over 30mins and lots of phone calls to sort it out. The team on the boat were amazing though. And the sting ray experience was fabulous. What a shame the admin and booking was such a disaster.

Stingray city was great fun. All guides were knowledgeable. Only got 5 minutes at starfish point before being hurried off to caves. After caves we were dropped off at a beach not knowing what to do. Had to wait 40 min for boat to arrive to pick us up. Would have been nicer with less transfers, maybe a snack on boat like fruit.

Had I known there would be a couple of hours of driving and waiting involved to do the third part of the tour-the caves, we would have only done stingray city and starfish point. The guides on both were extraordinary, so this is no knock on them, but on the tour organizers. Dropping you off at Starfish Point, walk through the woods to find a driver, then ride to caves, wait for the cave operator to drive you to caves…I get that it may be part of it, but again, had I known so would have made a different decision. The worst though was being dropped off at some (not inexpensive) restaurant for 45-60 minutes to wait for a boat to pick you up?? The driver had no idea what was going on, not apparently did the wait staff at the restaurant. All very awkward and time-consuming.

We’re sorry to hear that the logistics of the Crystal Caves portion didn’t meet your expectations. Just to clarify, the Crystal Caves are part of a protected national park managed by the Cayman Islands Government. Because of this, cave tours are conducted by official park guides and run on their own schedule. We coordinate with them as best as possible, but sometimes a short wait is necessary depending on park availability. The tour does involve driving between sites, as the locations are not close together, and traffic—especially during peak times—is common in Grand Cayman. To help make the return smoother and more enjoyable, we include a relaxing stop at Kaibo Beach where many guests like to grab a drink or enjoy the view before heading back to town by boat. This scenic boat ride helps avoid rush hour traffic and ends the day with a beautiful view of the Caribbean Sea.
