Castel Gandolfo Lake Kayak och badtur

We had such a lovely afternoon as a family on this activity. It don’t feel rushed at all and despite my wife’s anxieties it never once felt unsafe. We were tired by the time we got back but for all the right reasons. Interesting to hear a little about the history of the lake. We were ripped off by the taxi company that took us to the meeting point and with the benefit of hindsight it is so easy to catch a metro from Rome’s Termini to the Anagnina Meteo Station - this is where they’ll meet you and drop you off.. so cheap and simple. Our hosts were so friendly but if I could offer a suggestion, the pizza is quite heavy before you paddle back, and perhaps a roll or sandwich might be another option. This is not intended as a criticism though

Italy is hot in August, very hot! A day of kayaking at this beautiful lake was the perfect way to end our 2 week tour of Italy. The guides were very courteous and professional and gave a great history lesson on the lake. The train/bus station where we were picked up looked sketchy, but everything else was a very good experience.

I had booked a one-hour course, then canceled by the operator due to a misunderstanding; they offered me a 3-hour tour considering a surcharge of €25, which I gladly accepted, considering it was Ferragosto and a small misunderstanding is understandable; for logistical reasons I arrived a few minutes late, not seeing me arrive they called me and guided me step by step to their location, a kindness not to be taken for granted; as soon as I arrived they did the basic course and together with others we left for the tour, the guides were always discreetly attentive that everything was going well. At the end of a beautiful afternoon upon my return to the meeting point, I went to pay the surcharge and they didn't want the difference, very kind of them. I highly recommend it, thank you for the beautiful moments.

This is a wonderful way to cool off during a city break, especially in the hot summer months. The area is stunning and offers beautiful views of Castel Gandolfo. Our guides, Enrico and Valerio, were excellent—polite, helpful, and very knowledgeable. They explained everything clearly and shared plenty of interesting information with us. This was my second time booking this tour, and I would highly recommend it to anyone!

We had a great time kayaking with them on Lake Albano! We were a family of 6 with kids ranging in age between 9-19 and everyone loved it! One of the guides (Darius?) made it especially fun for my kids by helping them do flips into the water. It's one of the most beautiful lakes I've seen. And the pickup from the metro made it possible. It's difficult to get to without the pickup.

We had the best time in the water thanks to our guide Valerio! This was an amazing experience for a hot day in August, we were kayaking for about an hour or so, than back for a drink and tagliere, then back in the water! The lake is fantastic, the water is clear and the surroundings are beautiful. Special thanks to Valerio, Enrico and the team.

Group of very close-knit, helpful, and prepared guys, Lorenzo at the reception provided us with all the information we needed and the guides Enrico and Flavio accompanied us with caution and professionalism throughout the navigation. Highly recommended.

Nice trip in the heat. Lovely lake with flat calm waters. Not much of a beach but great to swim in water at the stop off point and tour guides were nice and friendly. Would recommend.

I have not kayaked before and learnt how to Kayak with Dario’s guidance. The whole experience was pleasant enjoyable . I recommend this tour highly if you want an activity away from the crowds and if you enjoy water sport
