We arrived in Casablanca today for the first time. Unsure what there was to see we chose the mosque and city tour that seemed to highlight the things we should be seeing while there for a few hours while off the cruise ship. We were met at the cruise port terminal by our guide Youssef, waiting there for us at the arranged time. The first stop was the Hassan II Mosque, where we were given an hr to explore. After which he proceeded to show us his beautiful city, the beaches and the neighbourhoods. We had thought about renting a car and sightseeing on our own but after seeing the road congestion for ourselves we quickly appreciated our choice for a guided tour Youssef was the perfect guide for this tour very informative and progressive, he freely talked about the many cultural differences between east and west. We left the the tour with a much better understanding of this Iconic city and its people.

On our final day in Morocco, we had the absolute pleasure of touring Casablanca with Abdul, and it was the perfect way to end our trip. Visiting Casablanca as a family from the UK was a real eye-opener and such a positive surprise. Our girls’ trip to Casablanca became unforgettable thanks to Ismail. The moment we stood in front of the Hassan II Mosque, we were stunned, it’s the biggest and most impressive mosque we’ve ever seen in our lives. Ismail guided us through the city with such calm confidence, even in the crazy Casablanca traffic where you need true warrior skills to drive. At the same time, he showed us the spiritual side of the city — the mosque, the churches, and even told us about the old synagogues we will definitely visit next year when we come back.

My son and I had a memorable experience exploring Casablanca and learning about the history and culture on the Casablanca City Tour. It was everything we expected and more because Abdul, our guide, was friendly, knowledgeable, professional and prompt. Abdul picked us up from our hotel in a luxury van, offered us water and gave us a private tour of all the sights we wanted to see and more. We especially enjoyed the Hassan II Mosque, Mohammed V Square, Quartier Habous and the Old Medina. Abdul answered all of our questions, waited for us while we visited the Mosque and Habous, and he made sure we were satisfied.
