Castillo San Felipe de Barajas är ett befästning som ligger i staden Cartagena de Indias i Colombia. Det ligger på en kulle som heter San Lazarus. Det byggdes 1657 under den spanska kolonitiden. Han led ständiga attacker från engelska och franska, Att vara den franska befälhavaren Baron de Pointis som tog slottet i mitten av 1697.
När resenären närmar sig Cartagena genom någon av de tre rutterna - land, hav eller luft - det första du kan se på avstånd är en bergskedja eller en liten kulle, vars högsta del mäter 148 meter över havet. Det har alltid kallats La Popa de La Galera. Det finns ingen festlighet i Cartagena, varken medborgerlig eller religiös, som har en prakt som är lika och inte ens liknar den på Candelaria de la Popa-festivalen. Folkmassorna som bildas i den högtidliga prcessionen den 2 februari, från helgedomen i La Popa till stadens centrum, övervägs inte i någon annan populär koncentration

We were traveling with a 4 year old so seeing the sites needs to be in a vehicle and air-conditioned. The tour itself was great. Carlos took in mind our interests and adding little surprises here and there to the route. We had a great time. Highly recommend!
The driver was friendly but arrived late at the arrival point. It was too hard to wait outdoors in hot weather. The tour was scheduled for six o'clock in the afternoon, but the tour was completed by the tour guide in the afternoon. It was the reason the festival was held around, but the festival was not held in the place. The guide lied to us. There was more information from the driver than from the tour guide. It was a bad experience. Please, another guide would not want this.
The tour did not follow the published itinerary. We did not go to Las Bovedas or the walls, instead, the guide gave us a tour of the historic center. When questioned, the guide said he wouldn't take us to Las Bovedas because "it takes too long". It also ended in an emerald store which was interesting but was not stated in the booking. I did not like it because I planned my trip based on the itinerary of the things I booked. In this case, I ended up doing 2 tours that included the historic center, but none of them went to Las Bovedas (reason I booked this one). Uncommunicated last minutes changes are not fair to a customer.
The tour was unforgettable! Tour guide was well informed and spoke English. We learned the history of the convent and the fortress as well of the city and more. Highly recommended!!!

This was the only tour that I could find for a wheelchair. It was a good experience but we did not finish the entire tour because it was getting late. Our tour guide was very good and spoke in Spanish and english. I could not go inside the fort because of the steep ramps but everything wlse I wa able to participate in.

This tour is in Spanish. The guide was wonderful and bilingual, he did a good job accommodating us. The van was old with no safety features.

Amazing Tour. The guide is very friendly and really interesting. I was asked which language to use for the tour and I can mostly understand Spanish so the tour was in Spanish and I understood most of it. The guide even made conversation with me in my native language (French) and I really appreciated it. The sights are amazing, the driver is great and everything was on time and well planned. The visit very complete and the guide very pleasant and knew much about everything. The three sites if you visit give you the complete view of what Cartagena is.
