it was very disappointing. we were asked to arrive at 8:09am and we did not depart until after 8:45 due to other people arriving late- - not my problem. this delay caused us to return 45 minutes late at end of day which caused us to miss our dinner reservation. Also when booking in Match i asked if i could have lunch at Anacapri- told yes. when we arrived for the tour was told itinerary would not allow🤷🏼♀️ For the price very disappointing. Less than 3 hour of local tour guide info. best part was boat ride around capri which we had to pay extra. not sure why i paid 2x more than your other tour.. Important to deliver what you advertise- and kelp to schedule.

We are sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations; however, we would like to clarify that this was a Viator shared tour, not a private service, and therefore follows a coordinated group schedule. The meeting time was 8:00 a.m., and departure took place at approximately 8:30 a.m., as indicated on your ticket and in line with standard group tour operations. There was no delay in the return. Hydrofoil tickets were pre-booked, and the group was already at the port of Sorrento at 4:20 p.m., so the schedule was respected and could not have impacted a dinner reservation. Regarding lunch in Anacapri, we regret any misunderstanding, but requests made at booking cannot be guaranteed as the itinerary depends on timing and logistics on the day. We also confirm that the boat tour around Capri is an optional activity, clearly indicated as an extra. Kind regards
Our guide Cynthia was awesome. Very attentive to her customers. She gets 5 stars as well as the small boat tour around the island. This tour was perfect for my husband who uses a cane.
The tour guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the tour. He was smart & entertaining. The communication was very good. We really enjoyed our time in Capri- we learned much about the area and knew we were in good hands! He took us to see the best views and did further inquires about additionally activities we had interest in- top notch! We would highly recommend Lorenzo and his team!
What Is memorable? Is difficult to chose one place or moment . Our guide Lorenzo was exceptional considering that is not the high season in Capri . May be we’ll have to back because wasn’t possible to visit the blue groutte . But in compensation our guide made our ride very pleasure and infiormative .
LOved the tour guide. He was very helpful and was cognisant of some of the people in our small tour, adjusting the itinerary as needed. Loved the chairlift to the top of the mountain, the quick way we were taken to the important sites in the island before many had arrived, our photos are spectacular. Lunch was good, as was the glass of beer, as it was very hot. The Augustus Gardens were lovely and the walk was very managable. The island was heaving with tourists but our guide was most accomodating and we even had a short funicular to the port to catch the boat trip around the island. We saw many stunning grottos before we transfered to a ferry to go back to Sorento. We very much enjoyed the day.
The tour guide was really lovely and helpful, I couldn’t fault her at all! The trip itself I wouldn’t say is worth near the amount we paid. Once we got the ferry to Capri, then the bus up to the chair lift after this we did not see our group as we wanted to do the boat tour and swimming which was not included as part of the tour and they do not make other time for you to do this therefore we had to miss out on the other part of the tour. We also had to pay extra for this and the chair lift (which it does say in the itinerary) we missed out on the gardens so that we could go have some food before the boat trip and then ferry straight back after. It would have been much more cost effective for us to have got the ferry to the island and made our own trip. Was quite disappointed with this trip although once again couldn’t fault the tour guide at all!
This was our 6 day trip in our 2 weeks time in Italy. My 80 year old parents were struggling with the long day trips that we were doing up to this tour (brutally hot). My Mom really wanted to do one more tour, specifically this one after having to skip a couple. I contacted the tour contact to let them know of our situation with older family members, and the replied right away to assure me they would be taken care of by the tour guides. I had both Roberta and Giulia, tour guides, contact me soon after to also assure me that they would take care of them. During the tour, they were always looking to make sure they were ok. Guilia was our guide for the day and was very attentive to my Mom and Dad. She walked my Mom up to the front of the boat as we approach Capri to make sure she was first off. Roberta was leading another group, but took time to also make sure they were ok. She walked us over to another boat that was leaving 10 mins earlier so that we could get an early start back to Sorrento. Fantastic. It meant the world to my Mom to be able to get this on last tour in. Thank you Giulia and Roberta!
Ugo was an excellent group guide on our Capri tour from Sorrento. He was very knowledgeable and thorough. Unfortunately the blue grotto was closed, so we did the island circle boat tour. Did the chairlift in Ana Capri. Were given enough time throughout the day to explore and return to the meeting point.
Great coordination and effort from the tour guide. Excellent communication before, leading up to the tour and during. Highly recommend for a well curated and excellent experience f the entire island. Minor feedback would be for the you to give more clarity around add one before heading to the island.
Ornella was a delightful guide. We had a wonderful personal experience at just the right pace. Even though it was too dangerous to go to the blue grotto we had a great plan b and sailed to many beautiful places. My two cousins and I wanted a private tour adventure. We had the opportunity to see all the sights, have granitas with a panoramic view, then a leisurely delicious lunch, and a beautiful boat excursion through the arch of love exploring the many grottos, blue waters and sunny day. Excellent fun day!
