Dear Paola, What an absolute PLEASURE to meet you today! You are bright, beautiful, and so kind! We were so lucky to have our paths cross. We LOVED your informative tour, and with our questioning, loved hearing about your family. Thank you so much for sending the pictures. PLEASE come to the United States, either New York or Chicago...we will NEVER forget you! (And thanks as well for taking care of us during the seasickness). Everything's good now, and back to normal. This was our first time to this part of Italy. I read about the crowds in Capri. We decided to take a fully escorted tour so we could leave the hustle and bustle to someone else. From the first moment we met the guide we knew we were in good hands. The day went flawlessly. We saw and did everything we wanted to do. And! Saw so much more than we would have seen if we were on our own. The guide understands the traffic patterns and crowd flows and was able to steer around it when possible. We were far more efficient and more nimble with a guide than we could have been on our own. A narrated boat ride around Capri with a chance to swim. Delightful (and they provide towels). Can you do it on your own? Of course But why bother.

Our family, Mom, Dad and 3 Adult children booked this tour off of a friend’s positive experience. It was everything we hoped for and more. Paolino was our bubbly, knowledgeable and prompt guide. We did not want or need anything on this trip. Very Relaxing and educational. From the first time we reached out to the company to the end everyone was very communicative and nice. Loved it!!!

Paola was FANTASTIC! Truly the best tour guide and tour we have ever taken. She was so educated, extremely on time and everything went so smoothly. She was very genuine and made our tour the best it possibly could be! As for the tour, it was absolutely stunning and very well planned, we can not recommend this enough- 10/10! Had a fantastic day on this tour - made some great memories . Our guide Paola was brilliant - was so friendly and made us feel very comfortable and knew so much about the Island . She gave us options so we could decide how to get the best out of the day and all her recommendations were excellent ! Was much nicer being in a smaller group. Definitely recommend !

We had a wonderful day with Chiara. She was terrific. She was patient and totally flexible, willing to do what we wanted. She knew the best places for pictures and was a pro in getting the transportation we needed to get where we wanted to go. She also made sure we got our lunch in record time. I would highly recommend her to anyone securing this trip. We really enjoyed the tour, we just wished we had more time. Thanks again for helping us make this happen - it was a perfect day.

We toured Capri with Mondo tours and guide Paula. The tour included ferry from Sorrento to Capri, taxis around the island to see Anacapri and Capri, the Monte Solaro Chair lift, and a boat tour. While there, we could tailor the tour as we desired and also chose to shop and tour Villa San Michele. We loved the beauty and quiet of Villa San Michele. The boat tour around the island was so much fun! It was quiet, peaceful, and the water was so clear and just right for swimming. Paula was a fantastic tour guide: personable, knowledgeable, and patient (travelling with family we weren't always sure ahead of time exactly how to proceed and she helped us work through it). Mondo tours did a great job prepping a Capri trip. I really enjoyed what they did, but as far as Capri goes, it is beautiful but be ready for a lot of people.

What an amazing and personalized experience with our guide, Paola !! She was incredibly friendly, ensured that our tour was catered to our exact desires, and was very knowledgeable about the entire island of Capri. (She also took fabulous pics for my wife and I.) I would highly recommend that you try and personally ask for Paola whenever visiting Capri !!

We booked a private tour (4 people) so we could maximize our day on the Sorrento peninsula - there's a lot to see and as we were only there during a cruise, we wanted to do as much as possible, and I'm pleased to report that Mondo absolutely delivered the best day possible, not a minute was wasted and the tour organization was incredibly well delivered. I made contact with the company a couple of months prior to our visit, and had a general idea of what we wanted to see - Pompeii, Sorrento and Capri - which was an already ambitious schedule given the time available. Mondo (Dario & Alexis) were very responsive to e-mails which were out of their working day, and gave us lots of options, from group tours to a private guide with drivers. We ended up with the latter, and they put together an itinerary for us which I must confess thought was optimistic - Essentially, we were to be picked up from the dock in Naples, whisked to Pompeii, then Sorrento, then a ferry to Capri, quick tour there, then boat trip around the island and back by commercial jet ferry in time for our cruise ship to depart. It didn't seem to leave much margin for error, but I was assured all would be well, and indeed it was! Further confirmation of the plan and to easy my mind was made over a Whatsapp call, unfortunately I can't remember who I spoke to but his English was better than mine and I'm English! The day before we docked, I had confirmation of our guide's name, Paola, and she also connected with me through Whatsapp that evening. At this point I knew we were in good hands. Sure enough, Paola was waiting for us as arranged and we were whisked into a car by the most urbane and sharply-dressed driver, who wasted no time in getting us out of the Naples traffic and to Pompeii. Here we met the irrepressable Patrizia, our specialist guide - more of this in a separate review. Needless to say Pompeii and Patrizia were both amazing. After the tour of around 100 minutes, our driver magically appeared and we were off to Sorrento. Paola, who has an irrepressable smile and is effortlessly charming and engaging, kept us entertained and informed as we mostly sat in traffic on the very busy Sorrento road. With a ferry to catch, and the traffic eating into our time, we had about 40 minutes in Sorrento, which we hope to come back to and explore in a more leisurely way some day, but this was enough to grab a coffee, do a little shopping, and get a feel for the place, as the centre is quite compact. Next stop, the 30 minute ferry ride to Capri, Paola discreetly arranging the tickets for us. On the island, a further driver awaited to wind us up the "Mamma Mia" road leading to the town square half way up the island, via an excellent sandwich shop on route. There's very little road on Capri, and that which exists is best suited to maybe a couple of donkeys, so you will appreciate his skills. Back down to the dock, and, like magic (and, I noticed, some discrete calls by the driver and Paola), a beautiful boat (actually more like a sleek wooden launch) draws up and we are off on a tour with Captain Ciro. It was a little choppy on the North side of the island, so the famous Blue Grotto was closed, but the scenery was spectacular and Ciro was adept in maneuvering his boat into the narrowest of caves and inlets so we could see some caves and the legendary blue waters in other places. Paola was ever-present with information and there were refreshments and the previously-mentioned sandwiches. The boat tour was a definite highlight of Capri, but had the weather proved too much, Mondo had another plan for us (we would have driven further into the island to AnaCapri). Back after a couple of hours to the dock and the confusing scrum of the port (with about 8 ships leaving within 10 minutes of each other, we were all glad to have Paola to get our tickets and ensure we got on the right boat (with a decidedly non-English approach to queuing which Patrizia also used to great effect in Pompeii!). The jet ferry back to Naples was about 50 minutes and bang on time, and conveniently docked right next to the Cruise terminal, so we had 30 minutes before gangplank went up to say goodbye to Paola (who by this point felt more of a friend than guide). I really can't thank Mondo enough for organizing this tour, everyone we dealt with from admin staff to our drivers and guides were truly fantastic, and the organization was clockwork. They took care of everything and we didn't have to stress about anything. We'd had a fairly terrible experience taking another company's tour to Cinque Terre only a couple of days prior (similar price, no guide, a driver who had little English and hadn't actually been to one of the destinations before) and this was the absolute opposite - perfect in every way and I can't imagine using a different company in future - thank you all at Mondo!

Our virtually all-inclusive private Mondo tour of Capri - led by Paola, our knowledgeable and thoughtful guide - was fantastic! Our group of six began from the port of Sorrento, took a hydrofoil to Capri, and then boarded a private boat for a complete circumnavigation of the island. The views from the water were absolutely spectacular. Following that we boarded our van for a trip up to Anacapri, which is a delightful town filled with an assortment of retail shops and restaurants. Plenty of opportunities for free samples of the local food products! We then took the van down to the town of Capri, and toured the area under Paola’s expert guidance. Amazing stores and restaurants, and even more amazing photo opportunities! We concluded with a return on the hydrofoil back to Sorrento to re-board our cruise ship. In every respect, it was a wonderful day - not to be missed.
