Denna turné börjar på en lokal gård där lokalbefolkningen kommer att ge dig ett varmt välkomnande, efter att guiderna klätt upp dig med sele, hjälm och handskar, tar vi en kort vandring på 5 minuter för att fördjupa oss i den täta vegetationen för att hitta vår dolda kanjon, när vi väl har fått den första träningsrappellen kommer guiderna att hålla ett säkerhetstal och börja gå nerför den första rappelen på 49 fot. Allt eftersom färdigheterna utvecklas och självförtroendet växer, kommer du att ta dig ner ytterligare 3 rappeller var och en med olika utmaningar. Höjden på vattenfallen på denna tur är mellan 49 fot och 131 fot. Först går du ner i en hisnande värld av forsande vattenfall, gömda stigar och klippor. Rapp ner vertikala droppar, hoppa in i uppfriskande pooler och navigera genom smala raviner, omgivna av den frodiga tropiska regnskogen. Efter en uppiggande kanjonsession är det dags att ta sig an Costa Ricas otämjda floder i ett spännande forsränningsäventyr.

Gå ombord på en robust flotte med ditt team och paddla genom forsar som kommer att testa dina färdigheter och lagarbete. Känn rushen i Rio Balsa, med en klass III-sektion på 45 minuter snabbt för fors, och en lägre sektion på en timme för att koppla av på lättare forsar, simma tropiskt vatten, stanna för att äta frukt vid floden och titta på vilda djur som sengångare, tukaner och leguaner. Upplev spänningen med att erövra varje fors och arbeta tillsammans för att navigera i vändningarna i de kraftfulla strömmarna. I slutet kommer du att belönas med en utsökt costaricansk lunch.

Upphämtningstjänsten som ingår i priset gäller endast hotell inom en radie på 5 km runt La Fortuna Central Park. Alla kunder från hotell som ligger utanför denna radie måste kontakta oss för att verifiera om deras hämtningstjänst är tillgänglig. ingår eller så måste du betala en extra avgift. Alternativt kan du köra till vår verksamhetsbas i La Fortuna (Arenal Rafting Company), 333rd Avenue, 460th Street, där vi har en säker park och andra faciliteter.

An amazing combo day tour with canyoning/rapelling followed by white water rafting! Well organised by ABC Canyoning and Arenal Rafting and great food provided throughout!! Went with our 10 year old son and 8 year old daughter and they were well looked after! Highly recommend. Jaime (from Colombia!) was fab at Arenal Rafting
booked a tour through this company, and paid extra for their Full Refund Policy, which states: “By paying this insurance, you will be able to cancel the tour without giving any reason for doing so. Receiving 100% of the amount paid at the time of reservation. Please Note: This refund only applies if cancellation is requested one hour in advance before the tour start time. If cancellation is not informed to our booking department on time, the booking will be consider as "No Show," so it wont be refundable.” I pulled a muscle during an earlier excursion, but had been improving, so I was optimistic I would be in good shape before the canyoning tour. I purchased their add-on refund policy just in case. Unfortunately, after the long drive from the coast to La Fortuna, I woke up the next morning in so much pain I was barely able to walk. I reached out to them to cancel as soon as I woke up, which was several hours before the tour start time, and was told I can’t just cancel without justification (even though their policy states otherwise). I explained my situation and was told they would send it to management to process. I received an email confirming the cancellation, but no refund, so I followed up again through WhatsApp to let them know. They stopped responding to any of my messages at this point. So, just a heads up for anyone thinking of using this company. They don’t honour their own policies and then ignore their customers. See attached pictures of the policy, as well as the conversation, and read, but unanswered messages.

Today I did the canyoning excursion .I did not do the combo tour . The guides were amazing . Very safe and knowledgeable. The meal at the end was very delicious. The hike back up from canyoning . It’s a tough one, Im sure I’ll be sore tomorrow . But it was worth it. I do not remember the guides names we had today . But they were so great.
We did the morning canyoning tour. Friendly staff, very safety conscious. Great experience walking through jungle and rappelling down a series of waterfalls, the last of which was 230ft /70m. Excellent lunch was provided, there were options for all diets e.g. fish, meat, veggie, vegan. Overall a great experience :-)
This canyoneering tour was the highlight of our family trip to Costa Rica. Alonzo and Gray were terrific guides, with safety as their #1 priority. They clearly communicated rappelling instructions and the plan for the day. Since our time slot was at noon, we drove to a nice spot and had lunch first. Then we walked to the 1st rappel. After doing 4 rappels, each one different and progressively more challenging , we hiked up to the top of”Infinity Falls.” It was very beautiful and over 80 meters high. The guides use the 4th rappel as a test to make sure you’ll be safe on Infinity falls. I’m an active 62 year old woman in good physical condition. I was concerned about getting hurt by maybe spinning around due to the force of the water and hitting the rocks. But I felt confident because of Alonzo and Gray’s instruction and my previous life experiences. You have to be able to focus on the task and not panic, especially when the water is pounding you. After all the high fives, we hiked back up to where we started and changed into our dry clothes. There was coffee, hot chocolate and chocolate for sale. I recommend wearing a rain jacket and having a warm, dry jacket to put on afterwards. They keep your stuff at the lunch place where you start and finish. This is not for everyone, but it was great for our active family, boy (18), girl (26), dad (63) and me (62).
Great experience to do with guides, don’t need to be very experienced because they are extremely helpful and they do a lot of the work. Definitely recommend!
The guides were great and full of information about the area, and the trip was a lot of fun. Definitely do this trip if you are in La Fortuna-Arenal.
