Beskrivning

It's under construction and that you have to take that in consideration before entering the museum for groups.
This was a scam. I ended up having to repay because the museum ever heard of Viator. Tickets were ten dollars while I paid Viator over 50
Dear Manon, Thank you for sharing your experience. We'd like to mention that we have checked in our system and your tickets were correctly sent to you via the email you provided. We hope to have the opportunity to serve you better in the future. Best Regards from the Quality Department of Amigo Tours – Claudia
Museum lists the price of 1 ticket for international tourist at 11 USD. I was charged 41 USD by Viator and Amigo tours. I reached the museum only to find that there was no line n no one even checked the tickets. I was charged three times the amount. Can you explain why this discrepancy?
Dear Nikki_n, Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the experience did not meet your expectations. The price of the activity not only covers the museum entrance fee, but also includes the skip-the-line service at the main ticket office—typically the longest line—as well as skip-the-line access to the San Miguelito Site, along with the service and operational fees involved. We regret any misunderstanding and appreciate you taking the time to share your comments. Kind regards from Amigo Tours. -Alma
At the ticket checking counter, I showed the ticket booking barcode, but the staff asked me to show the QR code. But I didn't receive the QR code. We were deadlocked at the door for a long time. Finally, they let me in. There weren't many visitors, but I still booked a ticket that doesn't require queuing.
Dear lls449, Thank you for sharing your experience with us. I’m truly sorry for the confusion you faced at the entrance regarding the barcode and the missing QR code. Having to wait at the door while staff insisted on something you never received must have been frustrating, and we apologize for that inconvenience. We will review this situation with our team to improve clarity about the type of digital voucher required, so guests aren’t placed in uncomfortable situations again. Your comment about booking a skip‑the‑line ticket when the venue wasn’t crowded is also noted — it helps us set clearer expectations for future travelers. Thank you again for your feedback. Even though the entry process wasn’t as smooth as it should have been, we hope you were still able to enjoy your visit once inside. Kind regards, Ramos, Quality Team
The ticket prices are 3x the cost of the Museum entrance fee. Our tickets were useless as the museum does NOT have a digital reader and only accepts printed tickets. Our communication with the agent was not helpful. Their final response was that we should show the pdf included in their email. The Museum had no interest in accepting this for admission.
Dear 367lynnek Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear about the inconvenience you experienced. Please note that all ticket instructions are sent in advance via email to ensure a smooth entry process. We understand this situation was frustrating and will continue working to improve clarity and support for our customers. Best regards from the Quality department of Amigo Tours. Daniela
Great place to see all Mayan culture.Fair price no que After that recommended go to local beach. Need around 1.5 hours to see all.
The museum shows a brief overview of Mayan history and is complemented by the archaeological site. You need maintenance and guided tours as billboards in English. It's a brief visit
I went there on January 9th (a Thursday), there were not really people. Then the skip-the-line was not necessary. The visit to the museum was interesting and the archaeological area outside.
The museum was amazing. And the ruins were beautiful. However, none of the workers knew anything about this “skip a line” thing. There was no line to skip. Just get your ticket when you get there.
Dear Lauryn_S, Thank you for sahring your experience :) We are sorry for the confusion that the tickets may have created for your activity. We hope you will give as a second chance for your next tour! Greeting from the entire quality team at Amigo Tour. Renata
Museum was closed due to no power however we were not contacted to advise of this. We spent 84US dollars on round trip in a taxi from our hotel (Moon Palace the Grand) We emailed immediately on our return to the hotel and have not had the courtesy of a reply
Dear Irene_H, We apologize for the inconvenience and frustration caused by the unforeseen closure of the museum. Unfortunately, we were not informed about the power outage either, as it was beyond our control. Your experience is important to us, and we're currently looking into the matter. Please contact your agency directly to proceed with a solution. Warm greetings from the entire quality team at Amigo Tours. Chelsea
