Joanna was a terrific guide - knowledgeable, personable and informative. The visit to the salt ponds was fascinating as was the time spent in Aigues-Morts and Arles.

This was a very enjoyable trip. We got to see the Carmargue horses , black bulls and the flamingoes. Our guide was very informative and friendly

Though this particular tour cancelled, I was given a similar tour that did not include Wife Mort. The tour I did taken was fabulous! I saw the actual rice fields I had seen on TV when I was18, ducks, flamingos and other water foul. Also the black dulls and white Camargian horses. Our visit to St Marie's de la Mer was interesting and educational. A good vacation day out in the country!

A little bit rush but worth to join the tour. We saw the white horses, the bulls but not the Flamingoes not in summer season. Nice and friendly driver/ guide. Recommended if you have only limited time but want to see much more outside the Avignon region.

Probably not people's first choice for a tour from Avignon, but if you have the time, I highly recommend this fun day away from the crowds. See the amazing salt ponds and learn how they retrieve and process the salt for various culinary and industrial purposes. Then on to two small villages--the quaint medieval town of Aigues-Mortes and the seaside town of Saintes-Maries-De-La-Mer. It was delightful to have just three of us on the tour and our guide Amelie was wonderful. Arles was the last stop and a tease, because we could have used so much more time there, but it was a great way to glimpse some of its highlights before returning for a full day. I was prepared, but didn't need, repellent for mosquitos in the Camargue, and was unprepared for the pleasant visit with the while horses of the area. All in all, a really nice day.

Excellent tour and tour guide. Thoroughly enjoyed the day, saw a lot of interesting things and learnt a lot. Very professional and friendly guide.

Ride through the salt marshes wasn't good, but the rest of the tour was good. I would rather have more time in Aigues-Mortes to walk around the walls and more time in Arles to see the town.

Even though it was so hot I had a great day. Guide, Amelie, was a joy

The tour of the salt marshes on the train was too long, especially as the commentary was entirely in French. Better to cut it back or even delete it and allow more time in Aigues-Mortes and Arles,

Aigues-Mortes was great - real mediaeval flavour - and we would have loved more time there.

Les Saintes Maries de la Mer was very good, and we had about the right amount of time there.

Arles was fascinating, but really needed another half-an-hour to explore it adequately.
Our guide was brilliant.
