Ditt privata vinäventyr börjar med ett varmt välkomnande från vår kunniga lokala guide, som hämtar dig direkt från ditt boende i Santiago. När du reser genom staden mot Cajon del Maipo turistmål, kommer din guide att dela fascinerande berättelser om de olika områdena i staden och om Chiles arv och erbjuda insikter i det lokala livet med värdefull information.
Du stannar vid ingången till Cajón del Maipo-området för en panoramautsikt över bergen och floden. Samtidigt får du insikt i de politiska händelserna i Pinochets diktatur.

Du kommer att besöka Casa de Chocolate på Camino al Volcán, en charmig och nyckfull plats känd för sin unika arkitektur och förtjusande godsaker. Njut av den mysiga atmosfären och bestäm om du vill unna dig läcker choklad eller glass
Du passerar Tunel Tinoco i Cajón del Maipo, en imponerande historisk tunnel som byggdes i början av 1900-talet. Utforska dess spännande konstruktion och lär dig om dess betydelse för regionens utveckling och de utmaningar som byggandet möter. Av säkerhetsskäl är det sedan 2025 inte tillåtet att komma in längre.
Du besöker Embalse El Yeso, en fantastisk reservoar omgiven av de majestätiska Anderna. Njut av den hisnande utsikten över det turkosa vattnet och de höga bergen, medan du lär dig om reservoarens betydelse för regionen. Observera : Tillträdet till Embalse El Yeso är stängt från maj till slutet av november. Under denna period kommer vi att besöka en alternativ utsiktsplats där du kan beundra den imponerande Maipo vulkanen på avstånd.
I det här området kommer du att besöka en berömd lokal restaurang där du kan njuta av en utsökt, traditionell chilensk lunch.
Du besöker en vinregion i Maipodalen med bil där din guide berättar om den berömda vindalen och du kommer att upptäcka dalens betydelse och varför den är så viktig för Chile och högt ansedd i den chilenska vinindustrin.
Du kommer att besöka den berömda vingården Concha y Toro för en förstklassig resa, prova tre exceptionella viner medan du utforskar vingårdens rika arv och lär dig om den chilenska vinkulturen. Beroende på tidpunkt och guidens beslut enligt kundens önskemål kan en alternativ boutique vingård i Maipo Valley besökas.
När din minnesvärda dag närmar sig sitt slut kommer din guide att se till att du kommer tillbaka till ditt boende i Santiago på ett bekvämt och säkert sätt. Under resan tillbaka har du ett perfekt tillfälle att ställa eventuella kvardröjande frågor om resan, Chiles vinkultur och politik, bergen eller landet självt. Vår kunniga guide kommer gärna att dela insikter, berättelser och rekommendationer för att berika din förståelse för Chile och dess traditioner. We had an absolutely wonderful time on out tour with Ignacio. He shared lots of interesting information about Chile & the region and showed us a lot of beautiful sites. The pace of the tour never felt rushed and focused on things that interested us. Our lunch stop was delightful and the food was delicious! We were able to try multiple different menu items and of course some Chilean wine. Speaking of wine, our winery visit was perfect. We felt like VIPs. All in all in was a fantastic tour and a fabulous day trip from Santiago.

What a wonderful tour of the Chilean Andes and local towns this was! With Ignacio as my personal guide, I saw so many examples of Chile’s natural beauty, including breathtaking landscapes, as well as an historical town and a first-class winery, rich with Chilean history and unique architecture. I particularly appreciated Ignacio’s knowledge of Chile’s independence movement in the 19th century, as well as his insights into the country’s more recent social progress and governmental evolution over the last 50 years. This was an eye-opening and educational you’re which I will never forget!

We had a great day of weather, a comfy and safe drive, saw the volcano, short hike to a waterfall, and ate some really good food. Corn pastry and empanadas pino are a must at reataurants along the route. Great advice from Ignacio on the winery visit. Would not change anything.

Lovely walk. The places visited all very nice. The excellent guide knew a lot and was very friendly. We did the walk at our own pace, as we enjoyed each stop. Lunch was very good. Thank you so much!

Ignacio was very engaging and informative on this tour. He did do his best to make it interesting given the constraints with regard to the closure of the road into Cajon del Maipo. A short walk to the edge of the reservoir was the the only option. We were able to get a private wine tour to Besoain winery a family owned business. Overall a great experience.

We had a fantastic tour with City Trekking. Ignacio was a wonderful guide throughout. We learned about Chilean history, took in the amazing views, and had a delicious lunch. We were driven safely through the Andes mountains and appreciate it so much. A lot of thought and care went into our itinerary and it shows.
