The museum highlighted the effect if WWII on Normandy and France and of the allies march to victory following the D-Day landings on June 6, 1944. The museum highlights of the German bunkers in the area and how the allies were able to successfully land on D-Day.

The museum isn’t air conditioned so on a hot day you may be uncomfortable. The overall flow and items to see were very good. We only visited a few museums in the area; however, this was the most thorough

I thought that I purchased the audio service but was told I didn't and had to pay for it. No worries.
Absolutely amazing place, really captures the uncertainties of the twentieth century through a European lens! It sets the tone for understanding events in Europe during the first quarter of the twenty first century. An absolute must visit!

Very interesting and memorable

The Memorial Museum in Caen is a great and moving experience. However, this vendor is not offering a tour; rather, they are purchasing the tickets as a middleman. It makes a lot more sense to buy the tickets directly from the museum website. Save yourselves several dollars per ticket.
