Dessa San är de enda buskmännen i Windhoek som delar med sig av sin gamla kunskap om den traditionella jägare-samlare-livsstilen. Denna guidade tur tar dig på en härlig tvåtimmars promenad, med en mängd olika stopp för att berika din upplevelse. Den är designad för att vara enkel och lämplig för alla åldrar och konditionsnivåer. Du kommer att lära dig om buskväxternas uråldriga visdom och hur San-folket använder dem för olika ändamål. Du kommer också att få en introduktion till deras klickspråk, och de kommer att visa dig hur du läser djurspår. Du kommer att se dem göra eld på ett traditionellt sätt och de kommer att dansa för dig. Lär dig hur man gör smycken av strutsäggsskalet och få en bättre förståelse för deras nuvarande livssituation i Namibia. Genom denna aktivitet kan kulturen i San förbli vid liv, och de yngre generationerna kan förvärva nästan bortglömda färdigheter. Intäkterna från dessa aktiviteter ger det fattiga San en möjlighet att försörja sig.

Vår gård i Brakwater ligger i en vacker naturlig omgivning av Windhoek. Det tar knappt 1/2 timme att nå djurassisterat terapicenter i vår ideella organisation Human Dreams Namibia där promenaden börjar. Du kommer att spendera 2 timmar med Bushmen.

This was an easily accessible way to learn about San culture. The San acted and explained in their language which was translated by a San guide.
An experience not to be missed, simple, without frills, that clearly shows the lifestyle of these Bushmen in just 2 hours…

This was a wonderful experience. We learned so much about the San people and how they survive. The woman who organized this, Nicole, is amazing in her own right. Highly recommend!
A must do experience to meet the San and their beautiful families. Nicole is an amazing human for facilitating this & other projects. Very humbling.
This attraction is good for the tourist that may not have the time or ability to travel to the area of the San bushmen. The Human Dreams farm rotates a group of San bushmen through the property. We watched 3 male hunters demonstrate their hunting techniques including how their poisoned darts are made. How omelettes are made in ostrich eggs and heard about various traditions including the unique marriage proposal. A symbolic dart into the prospective bride’s backside. They spoke in their clicking language and it was translated by a guide also from the same group. One of the hunters was his brother. The hunters wore traditional dress, and they were incredibly lean not an ounce of fat on them due to hours hunting and tracking in the bush and of course their diet.
