Bulldog Canyon är området i Tonto National Forest norr om Usery-berget och söder om saltfloden. Räkna med att se vackert ökenlandskap inklusive: - Unika växter, kaktusar och vilda blommor som är inhemska i Sonoranöknen. - Vackra bergskedjor inklusive Superstition Mountains, Red Mountain och Four Peaks. Massor av pittoreska vyer över Tempe, Pheonix och hela Solens dal. - Vilda djur som hästar, spjut, ormar, ödlor och fåglar. - Upplev äventyret med terrängåkning och att kunna resa genom öknartvättar och steniga stigar. - Turnén tar dig till vilda och sällan reste platser som du knappast skulle se på egen hand. – Turen guidas och körs av våra erfarna reseledare för att säkerställa säkerheten.

Vi börjar med en kort bilresa till off-road accesspunkten. Vi kommer att gå in i Bulldog Canyon utanför Ellsworth in på skogsväg 3554. Denna väg är mestadels sand och ser ut som en bana från ett BMX-spel!! Sandvägarna är släta och byggda för terrängkörning. Alla njuter av upplevelsen av Sandy-området! Denna del av turen tar cirka 30 minuter.
Vi kommer att korsa öknen till foten av ett berg. Sedan ska vi köra genom en stor tvättbana parallellt med berget, det finns en liten öppning som vi kan köra igenom. Vi stannar och gör en liten vandring upp till en höjdpunkt som tillåter vackra vyer. Denna plats har varit känd för att vara där vilda grisar och stora hornsfår gillar att umgås. Gästerna kan ta bilder och gå runt och njuta av intressanta växter, blommor och fantastiska vyer.
Vi svänger sedan in på skogsväg 10. Denna väg är en blandning av sand och små stenar. Det är en mycket vacker, pittoresk stig. Den här stigen har några roliga terrängupplevelser som att gå upp och ner för branta backar och köra över stenblock. Det kommer att fortsätta att finnas jättelika kaktusar, vilda blommor och unik fauna. Det finns alltid en chans att se vilda djur längs denna del av turen. Denna del av turen tar cirka 60 minuter.
Vi avslutar resan med att köra till toppen av ett berg som har utsikt över staden. Passagerare kommer att vandra en kort sträcka för att se vackra vyer över Superstition Mountains, Four Peaks och städerna. Gästerna kan ta bilder och utforska området.
Efter att ha sett staden är det cirka 10 minuters bilresa på asfalterade vägar tillbaka till startpunkten och din bil. Denna resa tar 2-3 timmar beroende på väglag och passagerarnas preferenser.

It was well worth the money. Angie was the best. It was just my 12 yr old son and I and we were so thrilled by the experience. We got to learn all about the terrain the plants and animals and the history of the canyon. We got out a few times to see the views. And the ride itself was amazing. We booked the 8 am since it was July. So glad we did. It got hot pretty quickly. But Angie had these water bottles and spray bottles they kept us hydrated and cool. Would totally book again ! Best adventure I’ve done with my son ever
Dave was a great guide. He knew the trails well and provided information about the area throughout the ride. We stopped at 3 different locations to take pictures. The instructions to get to the meeting location were clear. Once we were at the meeting location, we got in the UTV right away. Initially, when I booked, I did not read the part where WE were not driving, but being driven. Once I booked, I thought about cancelling for that reason. Trust me, do not. The 2 other people I went with also thought the same thing when I told them that we were not driving. I know- they thought lame. But- during and after, they were pleased with the fact we didn't drive. We could all enjoy the scenery and not have to figure out how to navigate the trails. It was very enjoyable to not drive. The canyon is beautiful. Would recommend for families, friends, business trips if staying in the Mesa area to see something different!
I was a little nervous to do this, but it was so much fun. Our guide, Angie, was great. I totally trusted her as she handled the terrain. She was funny and had a lot of interesting information and stories about the area. I am so glad my son suggested doing this!
Was an absolute blast. Dave was very knowledgeable and funny. Best tour guide and would recommend to anyone whos in the area to do it.
I was so disappointed. first of all, I showed up and it's somebody's house. there's no signs advertising it as a business, there were three, four wheelers, no other vehicles, and no one else showed up. it certainly didn't feel safe for me as a single senior woman to take a four-wheeler ride from someone's house with people. I didn't know when I was going to be the only one there. I waited for other people to show up for 20 minutes and no one came. I ended up going home because it wasn't safe, it wasn't professionally advertised, and there is no way that this should have happened. I would like my money back.
We had the best time. Our guide had so much info and showed us many types of cactus and trees. She also had many stories about the ancient history of the canyon even before humans were there. Highly recommend this family fun tours
We went on this tour at 1pm April 15, 2026,Our guide was Joseph. It was an amazing experience. There were only myself and my husband along with the guide. It was very personable and Joseph stopped to explain a few things along the trail. Going to the bottom of the canyon was my favorite part. Would highly recommend this company for other outings. Good Job guys, it was a great day!
A great adventure! Going in the spring (April) was beautiful. The landscape was so green! There was a lot of offroading traffic and our guide did a great job. He was knowledgeable of the area, and happy to share his local knowledge.
Dave e Great guide. He scaled back the adventure to meet our physical limitations without making us feel like we missed out. Almost cancelled because of the heat. So happy we did not. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
