Turen börjar från Katakolo hamncentrum. Du hyr den roliga utomhusbilen BeachBuggy® som är utrustad med FM-stereo och även med ett Bluetooth Sound System som du kan höra din favoritmusik från din telefon eller Youtube under din körning Coastline of Katakolon Peninsula! Du har möjlighet att följa vår guides BeachBuggy® bil när vi fortsätter köra Coastline i 10min till vårt första stopp. Vi passerar en naturlig och trevlig väg med massor av graverbara foton i ditt sinne!
Första stoppet är den översta höjdpunkten i byn Agios Andreas, den antika staden Elis i Pisatis, som ligger på näset som förbinder udden Ichthys (nuvarande Katakoloudden) med fastlandet. Vi stannar i 30 minuter, för en kaffe (kostar extra), andning/promenad/fotografering eller simning.
Andra stoppet är byn Leventochori, en fantastisk stranddestination där de grönskande kullarna i Elian land möter havet, vilket skapar en serie pittoreska bäckar prydda med mörk sand! Vi stannar i 30 minuter, för en kaffe (kostar extra), andning/promenad/fotografering eller simning
Nästa stopp är Klostret Panagia Skafidiotissa eller Skafidia, från vilket det tog sitt namn, byggdes runt 900-talet. Bredvid klarblått vatten i lonian, vid mynningen av floden Lardanes. Besökaren kommer att bländas av att se den medeltida fästningen som omger den på avstånd. Förutom sin anmärkningsvärda arkitektur har det också många religiösa och historiska skatter som: Heliga kärl, dräkter, reliker, uniformer, vapen, ikoner, mynt, votiv och klostrets fana gjord av en handbroderad ikon tillägnad Theotokos. Vi stannar i 30 minuter.
Nästa stopp är den lilla byn Skafidia, platsen för den antika staden Dyspontium, en av de åtta städerna Pisatis i antika Elis. Den låg på slätten mellan Elis och Olympia, norr om floden Alfeus och inte långt från havet. Vi stannar i 30 minuter, för en kaffe (kostar extra), andning/promenad/fotografering eller simning.
Nästa stopp är Kourouta Beach, den mest kosmopolitiska och blåflaggade stranden i Ilia som sanden sträcker sig över 16 km, sköljd av det kristallina vattnet i Joniska havet, som ligger bara 21 km (13 miles) från hamnen i Katakolon. Vid sidan av den gyllene sanden och det djupblå vattnet på Kourouta-stranden ligger otaliga kafébarer, restauranger, grekiska tavernor som serverar ouzo, färsk fisk och traditionella rätter. Vi stannar i 60minuter för bad och avkoppling i solstolarna där du kan serveras av drycker, kaffe eller mat med havsutsikt!

One of the best excursions we took during our 10 night cruise. We loved seeing the countryside and various beaches. The buggies were very nice. Far exceeded our expectations.
The experience was great. We were alone with the guide. He showed us really beautiful spots and is generally a very nice man. At each location, there was always time for swimming, exploring the surroundings a bit, and/or having something to eat. The buggies are really nice and clean; you feel very comfortable. We would definitely recommend it and wish Stavros and his family all the best!
Fantastic experience from start to finish! Location sent by WhatsApp in morning, 2 mins walk from ship. The beach buggies were great fun to drive, beaches & scenery stunning and our guide George was superb friendly and professional. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an exciting day out.
The BEST TOUR EVER! We had the most amazing time touring the beautiful countryside. Our guide as fantastic, the buggy's were brand new and were a dream to drive. This is a tour you shouldn't miss. Hope to return soon for another great adventure.
We loved this! We were in a group with four other clean and new beach buggies. We hit the road and stopped at three different beaches having time to explore a little bit before moving on. We saw a lot of country side as well! We had an amazing lunch on the Mediterranean at a fabulous restaurant right on the water. It was so beautiful. Our tour guide provided us with drinks and lots of snacks as well. I would highly recommend this if you’re into a little adventure.
George was amazing!! Great tour! The buggy’s were very clean and in great condition! The beaches were beautiful and the food st the restaurant was amazing!
Exceptional experience, buggies were clean, drove smooth, George was an excellent tour guide, gave us plenty of time to hang out at the beach, got good photos from our group and George took the time to take his own photos of our group and sent them to us later as promised. Wonderful experience 10/10 Cruising downtown through the shops we felt like celebrities, everyone taking pictures of us like we’re celebrities, he is the only one with these buggies, book them ahead of time before the are taken.
What an amazing day. Away from the crowds, taking in the beauty in top class buggys. So relaxing, driving through small villages, the countryside and coastal scenery, while listening to music by Bluetooth in the buggy. George was attentive and listened to what we wanted and flexible enough to change direction to ensure we had a great day. The monastry was magical and the beaches breathtaking. I cannot think off anything we would've rather done. A real highlight for our holiday.
My Mom and I were visiting Olympia on a cruise and this was such a fun way to explore the Island in these beautiful buggies. Communication via WhatsApp was very good and when we arrived, the buggies were in mint condition 👌 and George provided so many extras including rain coats in case it rained, snacks, water and an orange drink. He also took so many beautiful photos and videos of my Mom & I and our group and sent them to us at no extra charge. Going through the small towns, the locals would wave to us and shout "Yassas" and we felt so welcomed. Don't hesitate to book this tour! You will not regret it.
Great experience! The weather on our visit wasn’t the best but George helped us make the most of it! It was a very fun way to get around and tour the area. A bonus was George taking pictures during the day and sending them out to everyone after. Highly recommend!
