En 3,5 timmars upplevelse där du kommer att lära dig mycket om Budapest och få idéer om var du kan ta en närmare titt. Också mycket lämplig på varma sommardagar. Möt oss på Bike & Relax i hjärtat av den judiska stadsdelen, på Madach Imre street 12. Detta är den bakre delen av Madachtorget, som förbinder torget med Gozsdu Court. Från utgångspunkten rider du på Andrassy Avenue förbi Operan, Skräckhuset innan du når Hero's Square.
Dyk in i Ungerns historia! Fantastiska kungar och revolutionärer. Ett torg djupt i historien med magnifika byggnader och entré till Stadsparken.
Se ett falskt slott och fantastisk arkitektur. En av höjdpunkterna. Mitt i stadsparken. Kände du Anonymous?
I hjärtat av stadsparken väntar Szechenyi-baden på gästerna. En imponerande byggnadskomplex och rätt plats att höra om de varma källorna i Ungern.
Du kommer att återvända på Andrassy Avenue tills du vänder bort till Musikhögskolan och de judiska kvarteren
Se Musikhögskolan, inte bara känd för musiken och kompositören Ferencz Liszt, men också för den unika Art Deco-arkitekturen. Härifrån rider du längs de judiska kvarteren till Downtown.
Fantastisk kyrka i centrum av Downtown, största kyrkan i Budapest och en anmärkningsvärd historia med "den heliga högern". En plats att lära sig om religioner i Ungern
Mitt i finansdistriktet hittar du Liberty Square with dess berömda monument och fontän. En blodig del av Ungerns historia, också kopplad till andra världskriget.
Se en landmärkesbyggnad i Budapest, det berömda parlamentet. En av världens största parlamentsbyggnader. Gotisk stil, men toppmodern i slutet av 1800-talet. Plats för hårda strider i upproret mot kommunismen 1956.
Bredvid parlamentet kommer du till Donaus flodbank och njuter av en fantastisk utsikt över den näst längsta floden i Europa och världsarvet flodstränder.
Minns offren för nazistregimen i Ungern på den berömda "Skor". Observera att skorna kanske inte är direkt tillgängliga (beroende på trafik).
Unikt tillfälle att korsa floden på den nyrenoverade Kedjebron, den äldsta bron över floden.
Passerar Kedjebron svänger du uppför Castle Hill. Här kan du verkligen njuta av kraften i din elcykel. Lätt att klättra uppför kullen! Se Matthias kyrka och Fiskarbastionen. Ett "måste" på varje besök i Budapest
Efter att ha återvänt från Castle Hill till River Bank passerar du Castel (eller Royal) Gardens och når de historiska turkiska Rudasbaden (tyvärr, ingen tid för bad!).
Vid Gellerts termalbad svänger du till Liberty Bridge och går tillbaka till Pest Side of the City.
Fantastisk historisk bro över floden, berömd mötesplats och plats för solnedgångar; Korsa hit till Pest !
Se Centralsaluhallen nära älven, som fortfarande är i drift.
Historisk byggnad som ger dig en utmärkt överblick över Ungerns historia och regionens historia. Du kommer att passera där på din cykel, men du bör överväga att komma tillbaka för ett besök !
Hitta en imponerande byggnad vid ingången till de judiska kvarteren. Inkluderar och intressant judiskt museum och påminner om offren för Förintelsen. (Ingen entré ingår)

We had taken a panoramic tour by Jeep the day before. This bike tour was the perfect follow up activity. We got to see parts of the city not accessible by driving, Peter is an incredibly knowledgeable, energetic and entertaining guide. He always put safety first. But education and entertainment were a close second. I can't recommend this highly enough.

Very good guide Peter. Explained it very well. We saw and learned a lot. You can also book the tour directly. Value for money was super. The bikes were also good. He would be able to manage with it this year. The tour is highly recommended.
Lovely ride. I wish we did not stop so often however it was informative. Wish I James more time. Has to leave the group early due to a previous engagement. 😢

Peter is an amazing and entertaining guide. The tour is a great way to learn about the history of Budapest. We used the ebikes which made it very easy to go up the hills. There are many cycle lanes also. We learnt so much from Peter. Would highly recommend this tour.

Easy to find meeting place, great e-bikes, and knowledgeable guide. BUT…This bike tour was way too ambitious (too long, too much guide talking, too much city traffic, went to too many places) and needs to be pared down to maybe 3 hrs maximum. Guide should have begun by telling us 11 riders what to expect re: length of ride, route and sights we would see, and planned bathroom and food/drink stops. No one knew how long we’d be out and he didn’t seem to care that it went 4.5 hrs and across lunch time. We stopped plenty of places to see things but we NEVER stopped for food and only stopped for toilet when someone said they needed it. Obviously food and toilet stops were not scheduled- but definitely should have been on a 4.5 hr ride. Guide talked way too much (at least 15 minutes before even beginning the ride). As day went on, we riders were watching sky and forecast and knew a big thunderstorm was expected; had guide been careful, we could have been finished before the storm hit, but we were not. If you are in the least bit unnerved by crazy city traffic (narrow lanes, whizzing buses, avoiding pedestrians and bollards), I suggest avoiding this tour. We learned a lot but guide didn’t read his group’s cues and went on way too long about topics riders didn’t show too much interest in. And his views of Western Europe (in which category he threw Americans, thinking it funny) were pretty cynical and not really appreciated by some of us. We have loved visiting this beautiful city but we didn’t love this bike tour.
Dear Sue, sorry that you did not enjoy the tour and we appreciate getting this information. We will more focus on making clear what to expect and make sure for the participants to understand the route. There are options for bathroom stops as well as to refill the water bottles which we provide. We also understand that the tour became longer than planned for the fact that the guide tried to wait out some rain shower in a dry place. Peter was our guide and was very knowledgeable and I really liked how he did the tour, he was the teacher and we were the students. I liked his chalenging questions and informative answers

What a great time, despite the 100 degree heat. They contacted us to move the tour up 90 minutes to avoid the worse heat of the day - very thoughtful. The pre ride safety and bike set ups were great, and off we went. The bikes are super - framed in wood and easy to operate - the electric only needed to be on #2 of 5 settings, even to get up the very steep hills in Buda. We saw so much and cover about 15 km I’d estimate. There were bathroom breaks and water breaks - you can keep a bottle on your bike and tip it up at fresh water stations - they’ll store your bags if you need that too. Easy to find their store with gps - our guide Ciro was super knowledgeable- we had a fab time and the 4 hours went by very fast.
The truth is that even when it gets unusually hot it is better to bear on a bicycle than walking around or sitting in a car. The e-bikes guarantee effortless moving and always a light breeze. I had a fantastic time on this tour! I went solo and have never ridden bikes through a big city before. Our guide was fabulous, only 3 of us on the tour. We saw literally every part of the city in the perfect amount of time and got insider tips from our guide. Thank you again!!
