Basilikan är den största kyrkan i Budapest, och rymmer Ungerns heligaste skatt, St. Stefans mumifierade högra hand, Szent Jobb (heliga högra handen). Vi rekommenderar att besöka basilikan inifrån också, eftersom det är en av landets vackraste kyrkor med många spännande detaljer.
De judiska kvarteren är en av de mest spännande delarna av Budapest, där du kan se den största synagogan i staden, emblematiska ruinbarer och mer!
Museet är ett grandiost nyklassiskt landmärke i huvudstaden.
Den stora saluhallen byggdes 1897 och är den vackraste och största inomhusmarknaden i Budapest.
Det finns två anmärkningsvärda saker att se på toppen av Gellért Hill: Citadellet och Befrielsemonumentet. Missa inte att besöka Gellért Hill om du vill se otroliga panoramabilder och höra intressanta historier.
I slottsdistriktet (del av världsarvet) med dess unika panorama, tar vi en promenad och visar dig Budaslottet, Alexanderpalatset, Dísz-torget, Heliga Trefaldighetstorget, den berömda Mattiaskyrkan och Fiskarbastionen (se -ute terrassen).
Den Heliga Trefaldighetsstatyn ligger nära Matthiaskyrkan, mitt på Trefaldighetstorget. Kolumnen firar folket i Buda som dog av två utbrott av den svarta pesten.
En av de mest unika kyrkorna i Europa, belägen i hjärtat av slottsdistriktet.
Utan tvekan är Fisherman's bastion en av de mest besökta attraktionerna i Budapest. Missa inte att besöka denna plats om du vill se underbara panoramabilder från de vackra utsiktstornen.
Hjältarnas torg är ett bra ställe att lära sig om Ungerns rika historia. Här ser du Hjältesmonumentet, Tusenårsmonumentet, Konsthallen, Konstmuseet med mera.
Vajdahunyad Castle är ett romantiskt slott i Budapest, beläget i den vackra stadsparken vid båtsjön (skridskobana på vintern). Om du vill kan du ta en trevlig promenad med din reseledare runt slottet i detta vackra grönområde.
Denna teaterliknande byggnad är en pool och ett termalbad. Ta en titt på det berömda Szechenyi-badet, som ligger i stadsparken.

What a treasure we found having Dahlia show us around Budapest! There were five of us, newly off a cruise down the Danube, so we had seen some of the city already. We were pleased that Dahlia was flexible, amenable to changes, even as we were traveling. She came with Laszlo, a super driver and nice man. Dahlia , herself, was very charming, very warm. This tour might seem expensive but it is worth every penny. We were met in our hotel reception by our driver/guide Arkos who was extremely friendly and guided us to our beautiful BMW 7 Series vehicle with complimentary water which was very welcome. Absolutely luxurious vehicle and very clean and comfortable. We advised that on previous days we had already been to a number of places listed on the itinerary and he explained that as this was a private tour we could decide where we wanted to go. We wanted to spend the most time on Buda side as we love history. Fortunately Arkos has a degree in history and his knowledge and enthusiasm in sharing this knowledge was outstanding and made the tour so much more interesting. He was genuinely happy to be showing us around and he so loved his job. An absolute gentleman and scholar. He took us to places that you would never find on your own. A reflection of his local knowledge having been born and bred in Budapest. We ended our tour on the Pest side of the city which gave us ideas as to where to visit the next day. The four hour duration went very quickly and we wished that we had booked for longer. Great that we could pick our own itinerary and how much time we spent in each location. Thoroughly recommend this company and especially Arkos as your guide / driver.

We had a private luxury sightseeing tour in Budapest and visited Szentendre, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. Our guide, Christine Teplan, was fantastic — incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and made everything feel easy and personalized. You can tell she really knows the history and the area, but she explains it in a way that’s interesting, not overwhelming. I would absolutely recommend her. Our driver, Laszlo, was also great — very professional and made the whole experience smooth and comfortable. Szentendre itself was charming and a perfect escape from the city — beautiful streets, relaxed atmosphere, and great places to walk, eat, and explore. Overall, it was a seamless, well-run experience and I’d absolutely recommend it.

Took a 5-hour private luxury sightseeing tour of Budapest and had a really great day thanks to two outstanding folks: Christine the tour guide, and Gabor at the wheel in a very comfortable Mercedes van. What made this absolutely beautiful historic city more particularly amazing was Christine's impressive knowledge, understanding and instant recall of Hungarian history. She provided such an excellent and colorfull education of this country's history; from prehistoric to present, weaving places, dates, significant events, and people together that resulted in a really memorable experience for me. I believe I was able to see and learn more in a day on this tour than I would have by living here for 6 months. Great place, great people and outstanding service. Thanks Christine and Gabor; you did a great job and definitely more than full value for the price.
