Budapest berättar två olika historier genom sin mat, och denna tur låter dig välja vilken du vill smaka. Välj Óbuda, stadens äldsta kvarter, byggt över romerska ruiner, där en fungerande slakteributik, en restaurang med över 125 års historia och ett lokalt kafé utvecklas över 8 provningar av ungersk korv, lángos, fánk och hemlagad strudel. Eller välj Downtown Budapest, där stora boulevarder och barock innergårdar ramar 8 provsmakningar av rejäl gulyás soppa, krispiga lángos, syrliga inlagda grönsaker och ungerska kött, avslutas med skorstenskaka och en liten ungersk öl. Båda rutterna leds av en Guide som behandlar varje hållplats som sitt eget kvarter, och båda gömmer en hemlig maträtt längs vägen, en lokal favorit som vi inte kommer att namnge förrän den är framför dig. This was our first food tour, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone! We tried a variety of different foods at local cafés and restaurants while talking about Hungarian history. Our guide, Zoltan, was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, making the whole experience better. This tour was a great way to experience Budapest’s culture and cuisine!

Fabulous tour with Zoltan. Very well organised. Great choices for food stops. So much food - come hungry! Zoltan was really knowledgeable and great fun. Get the drinks package - the shots were something else! Came with our 2 teenagers and they loved it too - not too much walking!

This is the best was to start a trip in a foreign country. Get a nice experience of the culinary scene by a local, some history as you walk around and get to meet some friendly people from all over the world along the way. Out guide Kitti was very friendly and followed up the tour with all the things we did, recipes and a picture. Great job!
