Kryssningen äger rum under solnedgången, vilket ger våra gäster den mest fantastiska utsikten över det upplysta Budapest. - Obegränsad Prosecco (ingår) - 60 minuters sightseeing på Donau kryssning Slå dig ner på vår terrass eller koppla av på det luftkonditionerade nedre däck. Don't waste your time and money. We booked the cruise with unlimited Prosecco at 8:20pm. The boarding line was really long and we didn't realize that there were people in line for the 8:40. No communication from the staff about which boat they were boarding. As a result we missed our boat because we were behind a bunch of people for the next boat. They let us get on that boat but it didn't include unlimited Prosecco. It was also really crowded and noisy. We couldn't hear the narration and there were a group of men chain smoking right next to us. The top deck wasn't big enough for all passengers and nobody wanted to sit in the lower, hot, enclosed deck.
Me and my wife had the best time on this hour long trip up and down the Danube and it made the end of our trip feel special. The scenery speaks for itself and its an ideal way to enjoy this beautiful city at sunset, but we need to mention our excellent server Dominic who kept us in great spirits and his positive energy and amazing outlook on life rubbed off on us. Dominic, if you're reading this, we wish you all the best from London! Nursey rhyme wasn't possible after so much proseccO 😅
Silverline Cruise, Budapest: Cruises in Budapest are big business. No visit to Budapest is complete without a cruise down the Danube River to marvel the incredible gothic, Neo-Romanesque, Neo-Classical architecture that flank both Buda and Pest sides of the river. The most strategic spot is where the Buda Palace face off the parliament house. Timing matters too – the 8.20 PM ferry in summer is the most popular. You get the orange wisps of sunset, followed by the spectacular lit-up view of architecture in darkness. Silverline is packed with an assortment of tiered passengers – those with unlimited prosecco drinks, others ordered off the menu. It’s premium prosecco they serve – Bottega, not your tatty street drink. They are generous with refills too – so by the end of your 1-hour cruise, your head is bubbling too. I emailed to ask if my teenage son could get unlimited lemonade prior and it was an OK. However, we were denied that onboard. But George, by George, the lovely chappie of a waiter gave my son a second round. He is sunshine all round. #eatstylishtravelstylish
