Den ungerska parlamentsbyggnaden är ett ikoniskt landmärke i Budapest. Byggnaden färdigställdes 1904 och ligger vid floden Donau. I am very disappointed with my experience, especially because of the treatment I received from one of the employees before boarding. My reservation included the unlimited drinks package, but this service did not appear anywhere on my tickets or in the QR codes. This caused an unnecessary problem at boarding, even though the package was paid for. I showed a screenshot of the payment receipt for €48.30, (€22 for me, €10 for my daughter, and €14 for the unlimited drinks + fees) but the employee refused to accept it and demanded to see my wife's banking app. Since she had the phone and was about 2 km away, she had to come running to the boarding point to prove that the payment had been made correctly. But what made the situation even worse was the behavior of the employee, a blonde woman with a heavy build. She called me "crazy" and then told me to relax. I consider this behavior absolutely disrespectful because I was simply trying to solve a problem related to my reservation. Later I spoke with the person in charge of the ship. The first thing he said to me was that he doubted his colleague had called me "crazy". In front of the manager himself, I politely asked the employee to tell him whether or not she had called me crazy. Her response was that she was not going to speak to me in that manner. I consider this response to have been another sign of disrespect. I was calm, I was not shouting, and I was speaking to her in a polite manner. I was simply asking her to clarify what she had said. Finally, the manager apologized to me for the situation, something I appreciate. However, an apology does not change the fact that I was treated disrespectfully while I was trying to resolve a problem caused by the company's own booking/ticketing system. The cruise may be pleasant, but customer service is also important. I hope that the company reviews what happened, checks why the unlimited drinks package did not appear on the tickets, and improves the training of its staff to treat customers appropriately. The experience of the trip was excellent, but they did not want to recognize the reservation through Viator for a while, but in the end, they acknowledged it.

I regret giving 3 stars because the cruise itself is beautiful, but I was really disappointed because I booked with an audio guide in Italian and was told once we set off that it was only in English.

Was a nice boat ride, great that it had a big seating area under the roof as it was a bit rainy. The downside - not nice that bystanders get first hand rather than the people that booked the ride in advance… we were waiting in a big line and waiting for the time patiently but the “coordinator” cared mostly for the people that were still trying to buy the last second tickets on the spot + squeezed in front of everyone else that had reservations. Would advise to work on that. Otherwise a good time on the boat.

All of our issues were around the assistant who was to be wearing a captains hat. I don’t know if he was drunk or just really tired but he showed up 10 minutes after we were supposed to be checked in, told us the boat at the dock was a private boat and that ours was coming shortly. Gave us our drink tickets, but that was it which created an issue when we boarded the boat as they asked us for our printed tickets and it took forever for the two of them to make a connection. He also told us he packed up the white desk early, which was one of the things in the description that we were told to look for. Thankfully, we were attentive enough to realize there was no second boat and was the last two to get on board. This was clearly the most difficult meeting, location and details, due to the assistant, that we have ever experienced on a tour. The welcome drink was provided by the bar staff and was very nice. The audio should have described the buildings and which side of the boat we were to see the building, however, the track was very clear. It was played across the large speakers throughout the boat. This would’ve been easily a five star rating had the assistant wearing the captains hat done his job.
