Resplan

We booked this as an escape from the sunshine and heat. We prebooked the 2pm slot. The email said go to the I have a ticket line which we did. However no one was at the desk and about 9 people just walked in and got tickets. Then we were all entering together which meant we were all on top of each other so had to rush a bit to get some space. They should time the groups a few minutes apart. Lots of unsupervised children - this is the parents fault not the museum but they were annoying. My 2 teenage children enjoyed it and so did I only for the overcrowding at the start and near the end
Shoolvisit with the class. Very interesting and ageappropriate. Some games made it very fun for children to comprehend chocolate making. Tasting was great!
A great experience overall. A lot of history and you will learn a lot. The chocolate tasting is delicious. The short videos were informative. We came in at the end of the cooking demonstration but what we saw was cool, unfortunately he wasn't speaking English so we didn't know what he was saying.
Interesting museum where you immerse yourself in the history of Belgian chocolate. Everything with interactive multilingual audio guides with a mandatory route explained in a comprehensive and immersive way. Interesting, at the end of the tour, the demonstration by the master chocolatier who creates the famous filled pralines (which can be tasted, and are delicious).
Well laid out and imaginatively presented. Could be appreciated by young and old Lots of information available via audio guide, video, touch screen, static displays and demonstration - up to you how much you take in. Everything from early beginnings to the chocolate bar we know today. Starting with the pod growing on the tree all the stages in making the chocolate we buy and enjoy. Platform lifts made it possible for wheel chair users to see everything.
Your visit clearly meant a lot to you. We’re touched that the journey from cacao pod to chocolate bar resonated across generations and that the layered storytelling, audio, video, touch screens, and live demonstrations, let each guest choose their own depth. Knowing the platform lifts made every corner accessible makes the experience even more rewarding. If you ever feel like crafting your own tablet from bean to bar, our atelier chocolat in Brussels is always open.
Great 🤩 an audio guide and excellent representations, but it was a bit too long
Very interesting and knowleadgable experience
We’re delighted you found the visit interesting and enriching. Our master chocolatier’s live demonstrations are designed to share the craft behind every piece, and it’s rewarding to hear they resonated with you. If you ever feel like diving deeper, our chocolate-making workshop in Brussels lets you craft your own tablet, an activité à faire à Bruxelles that turns knowledge into hands-on fun.
The history is very interesting and the presentation by the young lady on how to make the chocolates was very pleasant, very delicious. The only thing to improve is the interactive games that do not always work when activated with the radio.
We are carried away by the history of chocolate, thanks to the audio guide. All of this ends with a nice tasting.
This tour is very informative; they explain the entire process from planting, collection, harvesting, and production, and you learn a lot! I recommend it!
