Brygge är en stad med UNESCO:s världsarvslista. Den historiska kärnan har så mycket att erbjuda. Njut av kvarnarna, vallarna och de medeltida stadsportarna. Upplev det unika Sint-Anna-distriktet. Vi tar dig till typiska allmosor, fantastiska innerträdgårdar och till och med väggmålningar på en gata med typiska hus. Vi börjar vid torget. Detta är en central punkt i staden. Vi går till uthyrningsbutiken för att justera din cykel. Sedan åker vi genom staden för att upptäcka de olika sevärdheterna.
Detta stadspalats av herrarna i Gruuthuse är ett absolut blickfång! Ovanför ingången ser vi fortfarande statyn av Louis, mannen som gav detta palats dess storhet.
Brygges begynage är både intressant och charmigt vackert. Flera vita hus byggdes runt en öppen innergård. Det är tyst och framför allt autentiskt!
Detta är en romantisk plats! Ändå var det av betydelse för folket i Brygge. Denna vackra sjö fungerade som en vattentank för att kontrollera vattnet i kanalerna.
Tornet var en del av försvarssystemet. I detta senmedeltida torn förvarades krut. Vi fortsätter vår tur på de gamla stadsmurarna.
Korsets port byggdes om redan 1366. De två imponerande tornen med och två åttakantiga torn finns fortfarande bevarade. Två kejsare använde denna port för att komma in i Brygge, både Karl V och Napoleon.
Denna kvarn är en av de fyra kvarnarna på Brygges vallar. Den byggdes runt 1776. Den tjänade till att mala mjöl.
Detta före detta sjukhus ligger nära en av Brygges kanaler. På stränderna ligger de historiska husen med steggavlar och klockgavlar.
Längs kanalen finns ett gammalt halvcirkelformigt torn. Det är den enda kvarlevan av den första stadsmuren. Detta gör det värt att upptäcka! Dess historia går tillbaka så långt som till 1127.

Nice guide. I got to see everything in two hours. Known and unknown pearls in Bruges, both churches and backyards. Good bikes.
Our tour guide Anne was amazing. She was so friendly and also very patient. We learned so much about Bruges and have many things to follow up and see again. Overall the best way to see the city!
A caveat first -- Bruges is crowded! It's not easy to bike in the city center given the number of tourists. If you decide on a bike tour, have patience during the city center portion because once outside the main area, it's just wonderful to see the old city walls, windmills, an alms house and areas where locals live. The guide Anna was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. She was awfully nice to a family whose child was valiantly keeping up.
Great tour. Good way to see hidden parts of Bruges. Would have never found the secret garden. Took us to a local chocolate shop for a free sample. Went back later & bought chocolate to take home.
Our guide was knowledgeable and informative. He showed us a side of Bruges that we would not have known otherwise. We loved the history, the many stories, and the beautiful landmarks on our bike tour. Michelle was awesome!!

Incredible bike tour to experience the magnificent scenery in Bruges while learning about its fascinating history and culture from the wisdom of a local expert. Our guide Wim was extremely knowledgeable, hospitable, and kind!
Our tour guide was lovely and we enjoyed exploring the beautiful town of Brugge with Michel. It as great to see other parts of the town.
This bike tour led us to see beautiful sights of the old and the new in Bruges. Our guide Ann was informative and gave clear instructions. The visit to the old church from the 1100’s was so interesting. The bikes were very basic but had several gears and the terrain is quite flat, if not a bit bumpy over the cobblestone streets. The four of us are 60+ and managed very well. There were others in the group of all ages. One downside is that If you are choosing this tour from a cruise ship at the port, you should know that it’s a 30 min 55 euro taxi ride to get to the market square where the tour originates. Or there is a free city bus that gets you to within a 20 min walk. This should be mentioned in the description.
Ann is a very knowledgeable guide who is a third generation Brugge resident. She took us on bikes to many of the famous sites as well as lesser known areas. We biked through some beautiful residential areas on paths that are quiet and serene. The rental bikes are very comfortable and easy to ride. Thank you Ann for showing us your hometown. We highly recommend this tour!
