Bribri Magic Chocolate and Waterfall Experience

”Vi lämnar Puerto Viejo klockan 07:45 och kör i cirka 30 minuter till Bribri Indigenous Reserve. Där får vi träffa en ursprungsbefolkningsfamilj som delar med sig av sin kultur, sina traditioner och sina förfäders kunskaper om medicinalväxter. Deltagarna kommer att utforska en permakultur trädgård, smaka färsk kakaofrukt och delta i processen att göra traditionell choklad. I de flesta fall kommer din Guide att vara en infödd Bribri Guide från Duriwak Bribri klanen. På vägen tillbaka stannar vi vid ett vackert vattenfall i bergen i Talamanca, där gästerna kan njuta av ett uppfriskande dopp i den naturliga poolen under fallen. Efter denna avkopplande paus, kommer vi tillbaka till Puerto Viejo.” Tack så mycket.

Great outdoor experience with insight into a different perspective. Chocolate experience and waterfall were very pleasant.
Braulio, along with the Bribri family at the reservation were so kind to show us the rich history and technique of chocolate making as well as knowledge of medicinal herbs. This tour made me appreciate this country so much more. I recommend 100%! Pura Vida!

Fascinating visit to a cacao farm with a wonderful guide who knew lots about the medicinal uses of the native plants. Gorgeous waterfall. Highly recommend

Braulio was so awesome! Very patient and knowledgeable as he explained so much about the area. The Bribri experience was so essential if you are visiting the area, and being able to tour the reserve, make cacao paste, learn some indigenous history/Bribri phrases AND see a gorgeous waterfall off the beaten path was more than worth it. Highly recommend if in the area and have the day to spend!

Everything was perfect. Received a great overview of the culture, people and their land before making chocolate. Lunch was tasty and they accommodated my GF request. Waterfall was superb. Was not rushed. Dropped off at hotel around 5pm so longer than advertised time which I was fine with!
