Boka dagsvandring i Rau Forest Reserve, nära Moshi Town i Tanzania

Trädet används av de traditionella läkarna från de närliggande samhällena för ritualer och medicinska ändamål med trädets bark. Vissa människor tror att trädet kan användas för att jaga bort den onda andan. Skogsvandringen innebär också att du besöker och om du är intresserad av att delta i vårt bevarandeinitiativ för att antingen spendera 30-45 minuter i våra trädkammare vattna och hantera unga plantor eller plantera några träd för att hjälpa till att bevara skogen. Från kanten av skogen i den södra delen kan vandringen utvidgas till risgårdarna där de lokala jordbrukarna bedriver ett bevattningssystem till mer än 3000 hektar ris.

Peter was an amazing guide and picked us up at our hotel and even brought us back again. He told us all about the different animals, trees and plants whilst the forest walk. He is so funny and his interest for wildlife is addictive and we loved to hear about his stories. He has a lot of experience and we would recommend going on a tour with him anytime. The forest tour was great. It was really nice to get out of the city buzz for a few hours and take some time to explore around the forest, rice field's and see the monkeys! Peter was a really good guide, he knew a lot about the forest, different trees and animals and the lifestyle of the farmers. Very much recommend :-)

The Rau Forest Hiking Tour was really nice! We saw lots of monkeys and special kind of trees and fruits. We also really enjoyed the Rice fields, it was wonderful! You could walk between the fields. The guide Peter has lots of knowledge and is really kind. He is very flexibel and willing to help you. He picked us up at our accomodation. We would definitely recommend this tour to others!
