Bon Vivants populära vinprovningsresor leds av professionella vinutbildade reseledare. Första stoppet blir vid ett större flaggskeppsvineri för att starta dagen stort. Du kommer att njuta av en provning av 4-6 viner, och kanske lite bubbel också. (Trots Viators automatiska inställning att inträdet är gratis är provningsavgiften extra. Planera på $ 40 per person för detta stopp, om du inte köper vin.)
Det andra stoppet blir vid en mindre vingård/provningslokal, där du kan köpa lunch att avnjuta medan du provsmakar. (Trots Viators auto inställning att inträdet är gratis, budget $ 20-30 för lunch och $ 20-25 för provsmakning avgift. Om du köper vin kommer en del av eller hela provningsavgiften att utgå.)
Det tredje och fjärde stoppet kommer att vara vid boutique vingårdar/provningsrum. Dessa platser är små, förtjusande och familjeägda. (Trots Viators auto inställning att inträdet är gratis, provsmakning avgifter är extra, budget $ 20-30 per person för varje vingård. We had a good wine tasting experience with Michael. He was very knowledgeable about the Washington wine regions. The company was easy to work with. When I booked the tour I expressed an interest in going to St Michelle winery. They realized the winery was closed on the original date of my tour, so they reached out to work with me to reschedule our wine tour. Michael didn't rush us thru the tastings or our picture taking. He keep the other wineries updated on our schedule, so they were ready when we arrived.

The courtesy, convenience, knowledge of our tour guide made the overall experience fun and enjoyable. I do suggest that the company do a better job of listing exactly what the "additional" costs are and who receives the payments. I do wonder what the $240 up front cost of the tour covered - the guide's expenses in gas????? I would also suggest the hosts at the wineries ask the guest how much to pour for tasting. Felt like the first stop had heavy pours, which then made the subsequent stops difficult. Some sort of cracker, cheese or snack should be served at each site.
We are glad that the experience was fun for you, and especially that you enjoyed the tour guide. You make an interesting point about "heavier pours" at the beginning of the tour. The team here at Bon Vivant will give that suggestion some consideration. As for the additional costs, each winery does indeed charge tasting fees, as noted on the TripAdvisor/Viator buying page and in our emailed confirmation.
Authentic lovely experience! Michael was a joy to spend the day with and is super knowledgeable! I love that him and his wife started this business in retirement. It seemed that everyone knew Michael as well! Very fun!

This wine tour was AMAZING! Michael was our tour guide and he is so knowledgeable about all of the wineries we visited. We went to Chateau Michelle, Patterson cellars, Efeste, and Avennis wineries. They were all great, would definitely recommend!
