Boka Nile Cruise 5 dagar 4 nätter från Luxor till Aswan Standard

Hello we have been recently in Egypt and also for 7 days we cruised the Nile on the SHAMS motorbike, before going I was seeing several opinions and there was everything but I leave you my experience and that of all those who were on the Boat. Unbeatable!!! The comfortable and varied every day, the crew always attentive and very friendly, the boat has been renovated in large part and the stay is pleasant in general. Drinks go to part but for example one juices on exchange one euro, a half liter beer 3 euros, large bottle of water one euro. We recommend it 100 percent. June 2024 we arrived yesterday.

As part of a trip to Egypt lasting several days, we spent seven days on the Nile Shams, a Nile cruise ship booked with us through the tour operator. As the journey progressed, we were also briefly on other ships (the ships on the Nile are all the same size and height in their outer dimensions) and always found ours to be one of the better in comparison - above all, we liked that the entire roof was available for pool, loungers and bar (in other ships this was only the rear part). The five-star rating is not comparable to a hotel standard on land, you have to admit, and on closer inspection some of the designs did not meet German standards. But this first impression in the room quickly became relativized. In our spacious cabin in the middle deck with air conditioning it was clean and we had a great view. It was also very attentive to cleanliness on our trip overall, everything was maintained and kept tidy after our observation, also the pool cleaned regularly etc. But the warm-hearted atmosphere on board was particularly great, for example on deck and in the restaurant. During the week, you got to know the team from masseur to restaurant chef, and you were always greeted warmly and personally and cared for touchingly. Here the whole team obviously gave everything to make you feel comfortable, and that went to our hearts. Also the food was very good. The chef was personally particularly at pains. The buffet was very varied - a fresh salad and fruit section with changing hot food and soups and side dishes. We felt that there was always at least three or four different types of fish and meat prepared at the same time - including both "neutral" or German (?) spiced dishes as well as more refined Egyptian dishes (for example the spicy stuffed chicken), and a dish was freshly prepared or fried by the chef at the buffet. We really felt very comfortable and would love to come back next time.

We did the cruise 7 days / 7 nights. Younger boat with some gaps in the cabins: few sockets, 1 with exposed wires: cabin with 1 or 2 beds with passage of max 80cm on the 3 sides of the bed. Number of seats too right at the upper deck (rest and swimming pool). Average and somewhat repetitive international food. Full board and drinks at a decent price for Western tourists. Service of goodwill but English sometimes poorly mastered. Identical visits to all Nile programmes. Possibility of additional paid visits. Take euro coins and small denominations because many things can be paid in €. This troubleshoots before you get Egyptian books.
