Din dag börjar när din chaufför plockar dig upp från ditt hotell för att ta dig till ditt första stopp: Monserrate Sanctuary, belägen inom de imponerande östra kullarna i staden, i en höjd av 3150MASL. Stigande till toppen av berget på en linbana, kommer du till stadens mest kända pilgrimsfärdspunkt, och kanske den mest otroliga utsiktsplatsen i huvudstaden. Detta är den bästa platsen att förstå stadens historiska och rumsliga kontextualisering.
För att slutföra stadsrundan, kommer du att korsa La Candelarias gräns för att bli nedsänkt i den mest imponerande samlingen av inhemska guldartiklar på Guldmuseet. När du lämnar får du chansen att shoppa på hantverksmarknaden vid Parque Santander.
Efter promenaden i La Candelaria kommer du till Plaza de Bolívar. Det är här där de administrativa och statliga byggnaderna - som har varit ikoner för de historiska processer som utförs i vårt land - omger Plaza Plaza.
För att slutföra stadsrundan, kommer du att korsa La Candelarias gräns för att bli nedsänkt i den mest imponerande samlingen av inhemska guldartiklar på Guldmuseet. När du lämnar får du chansen att shoppa på hantverksmarknaden vid Parque Santander.
Så snart stadsturen är över kommer du att bli till den charmiga staden Zipaquirá där du kommer att besöka Zipaquirá Salt Cathedral. Det här är en plats där mysticismen i Muiscas (inhemsk kultur), katolsk symbolism och modern teknik kom samman för att ta besökare på en magisk tur genom tunnlar och valv av imponerande storlekar. På denna turné kommer du att ange en gammal saltgruva som anpassades till en katedral. Här har konstnärer och skulptörer manipulerat de underjordiska materialen för att skapa ursprungliga representationer av katolska symboler. Lär dig av en expertguide om denna process och innebörden bakom de konstverk du kommer att se på turné.
Sedan leder du till den koloniala byn Zipaquirá, där du går genom torget som omges av flera byggnader som har förklarats nationella monument. Här kommer du att smaka på läckra bakade livsmedel i regionen och kolla in den lokala hantverksmarknaden. Slutligen kommer du tillbaka till Bogotá, där du kommer att köras till ditt hotell.

The tour guide was outstanding and considering we had only 1 day and it was Easter weekend she ensured that we saw all the highlights of that beautiful city.
We took this tour of the Zipiquira salt mine and cathedral and then had a walking tour around the old part of Bogota, Bolivar Square, and the Museo de Oro and it was all great. What I really want to rave about is the very wonderful tour guide we had--Viviana Castro. She's excellent and very knowledgeable I highly recommend that you ask if she's available to be your guide. We landed that morning and were picked up at the airport (here's what I don't understand. Why did we have to pay an extra $20 to be picked up from the airport instead of from a hotel??) and spent the next 10 hours seeing the sights with our own private guide and driver.
My family was met outside the exit of Colombian customs at the Bogota airport by a very friendly Impulse driver who took us to the JW Marriott hotel. The following 2 days we were picked up by Impulse who provided a driver and tour guide that took us on the Bogota City tour, Zipaquira Salt Cathedral and Lake Guatavita tours. All tours were fantastic and included a traditional Colombian lunch. I traveled with my family for this tour and the people of Colombia were very warm and embracing! Impulse provided exceptional service at a great price! Colombia is going to be the next top hot spot for travel now that it is safe. Get there before the tourist take over.
Excellent guide and driver. Andres was my private guide and he was very knowledgeable about everything. The Salt Cathedral was the most amazing church I’ve ever seen. Monserrat had an amazing view of the city. I just wished that it was in the evening with all the festive lights surrounding the place. Highly recommended!
I took the tour that included the City Tour of Bogota plus the Cathedral of Sal. It is one of the most complete tours because you can see basically the main attractions of Bogotá (plus the Salt Cathedral in one day). The tour is private so it was much better. Felipe is an excellent guide. Very pleasant and knowledgeable. Our driver, Maria, was also very kind. They were always on time and the car was very clean.
