Paddlarna lämnar efter sig en virvel av blått ljus och stjärnorna täcker himlen på denna mystiska nattkajakexpedition över naturreservatet Las Cabezas de San Juan. Wonderful instructors, I rode a kayak for the first time and was able to experience a once in a lifetime adventure with my boyfriend.
Felt safe and they led us well. Tour was shorter than the duration we paid for, however. And we only got pictures of us before and after kayaking but were told there would be pictures taken of us throughout.
We had an amazing time with our 9 & 7 year old kids on the nighttime kayak! Miguel & Lori were fantastic, patient, and so helpful—even towing my husband and me when our kids gave up paddling halfway through! They made the experience fun and memorable for our whole family. Highly recommend this tour and this wonderful team!
Our guides, Miguel, Justin and Francisco were great! Super friendly and helped us along the way. The kayaking in the mangrove forest was a great experience. As far as the bioluminescent water goes. It's definitely not what it used to be. As the guides explained, due to all the seaweed and low oxygen levels, there is much less bioluminescent plankton than in the past. You will see some glowing though. But just kayaking through the mangroves to the lagoon and back in total darkness made this a wonderful experience!

Miguel, Justin and Francisco were our guides! They were so funny and very pleasant. So helpful and very informative! Interact great with kids as well. Great experience, had so much fun!
What a great experience! The guides were very friendly and knowledgeable. I’m not a frequent kayaker, but the journey wasn’t too strenuous. While the bioluminescence wasn’t super bright during our trip, we still had fun. Paddling in the dark with stars twinkling above will be an experience we won’t forget.
The experience was great with the instructors and had some information given about the lagoon. Justin, Francisco, Miguel and Ineliz were really great! Definitely recommend!
I loved my experience. Me and my family had a lovely time. Our tour guides(Francisco,Miguel, and Justin) made the experience 10 times better by telling us facts about the wild life and giving us tips about how to properly look for the luminescent bugs in the water. 💯 recommend.
The guides--Miguel, Francisco, and Justin--were very informative and kept the energy up. Miguel even attached his kayak to me and my partner's when he saw us struggling.
