Gurun Pasir Busungs mystiska sanddyner i Bintan. Ursprungligen en gruvplats, Gurun Pasir Busung övergavs och nu liknar det ett majestätiskt landskap i den arabiska öknen. Även om det ligger ganska långt bort från staden och resortområdet, är många Tourist villiga att ta sin tid bara för att besöka denna plats. Allt på grund av den gyllene sanddynen som kontrasterar vackert mot den blå himlen och vita fluffiga moln, vilket gör det bild-perfekt. Det är snart att vara fascinerad, eftersom denna plats har mer att erbjuda. Alldeles intill den gyllene sanddynen finns en surrealistisk kristallklar blå sjö. Det är svårt att föreställa sig att denna kristallblå sjö en gång bara var en stor krater i en övergiven gruvplats, men med tiden började den gradvis fyllas med regnvatten vilket resulterade i en "postapokalyptisk oas" mitt i Gurun Pasir Busung-öknen.

This place was really nice to take many great photos! We paid IDR 50,000 and had fun doing a mini photoshoot with the clear blue lake and sand dunes in the background, super worth it as the pictures turned out really well. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Bintan. Our driver and guide, Rio, was really nice and friendly and we had a comfortable ride with him from the villa to the lake and back. Thank you Rio for your hospitality!

We visited in the rain so lakes not as blue as described but still interesting and picturesque. Not much to do there and spoilt by the litter everywhere. I passed a sad looking owl tethered to a post presumably for the pleasure of taking a photo with it - took the edge off the attraction.

Fortunately it was a clear day and the views were amazing. Our tour guide, Yurnalis was very co-operative and helped with some great pictures.

All was good. Our driver/guide was on time and very helpful and accommodating throughout the tour. The vehicle was clean and modern and we were taken to some very intetesting places that were off the beaten track. It was nice to get out of the Lagoi resort enclave to see a bit of the real Indonesia. Well worth the money.
