Efter att ha hämtat alla gäster i deras hem, börjar vår turné kl. 07.00, vi kommer att gå via Calera för att uppskatta en panoramautsikt över norra Bogota i utsiktspunkten, vi kommer att betrakta de vackra landskapen i Sabana de la Capital, sedan vi kommer fram till vår första destination: kolonialstaden Guatavita kl 830, där vi kommer att vara i 45 minuter, där går vi och uppskattar de imponerande vita husen, med lertak och stengolv. Vår tredje destination är Sabana de Bogota, som inte är en specifik plats, tvärtom, det är kombinationen av alla landskap som du kommer att ha möjlighet att se under hela resan från att du lämnar Bogota tills du återvänder tillbaka till ditt hotell. Det är ett område som samlar många städer i regionen, du kommer att se dalar, olika typer av träd, djur, lokal vegetation, blommor i olika färger och former, laguner bland annat. Nuestro tercer destino es la Sabana de Bogota, la cual no es un sitio especifico, por el contrario, es la combinación de todos los paisajes que tendrás la oportunidad de ver en todo el recorrido desde que sales de Bogota hasta que regresas de nuevo atu hotell. Es un área que reúne muchos pueblos de la región, veras valles, diferentes tipos de arboles, animales, vegetación local, flores de distintos colores y formas, lagunas entre otros.
Efter att ha rest i över en timme genom Bogota savannen, kom vi äntligen fram till vårt fjärde stopp: staden Zipaquira, där vi njöt av en läcker lunch på en lokal restaurang som serverar typisk colombiansk mat. Luego de viajar por mas de una hora por la Sabana de Bogota finalmente hemos llegado a nuestra cuarta parada : El pueblo de Zipaquira, allí degustaremos un delicioso almuerzo en un restaurante local con comida típica Colombiana.
Sist men inte minst kommer vi äntligen fram till vårt 5:e stopp, Saltgruvan Zipaquira, kallad Colombias första under. Katedralens saltgruva blir ett av de viktigaste turistmålen, det är en före detta saltgruva som har byggts om till en katedral. Du går ner till katedralens djup och kommer till den stora centrala kupolen där det är möjligt att se det största korset under jorden, den största salen för ceremonierna i katedralen och en trevlig boulevard. Dessutom kan du se andra attraktioner som Cathedral Light Show, film om gruvan och vattenspegeln bland annat. Du tillbringar cirka 2 timmar inne på egen hand. Efter att vi kör tillbaka till Bogota i över en timmes bilfärd så släpper jag av dig på ditt hotell. Por último llegaremos a la 5th parada: La Mina de Sal de Zipaquirá, la Primera Maravilla de Colombia. Es uno de los destinos turísticos más importantes, es una antigua mina de sal que ha sido convertida en catedral. 2 horas dentro y regresamos a Bogota.

This tour included a guide and transportation to GUATAVITA, a hike to the lagoon, and transportation to zipiquaria/salt cathedral. The tour brought us to a BBQ restaurant for lunch, and the food was good there. Be aware that the food and entrance to the attractions were not included in the tour.
A great experience, we were able to see the two of the most iconic points in Bogota. Every detail was taken care of. Our lunch place was a great place for Colombian food. Our guide Carlos was excellent. He kept our group together and used out time efficiently. Very highly recommended.

I give two star review because at the beginning the tour seems to be fine. The agency provided detailed information regarding the tour, answered the question properly and was very patient. The guide was knowledgeable and the tour seems to be very organized despite the long day. However I can’t ignore the disorganization during the drop off process and the lack of accountability. Before everyone was dropped off to the hotel, the bilingual guide got off the bus. The bus driver doesn’t speak a single word of English so that fact alone already added a huge layer of difficulty for tourists like me. When the bus was only 3 minutes away from my hotel, the driver ignored my hotel and drove further away. Some of the peer tourists can speak Spanish, so they tried to talk to the driver that he missed one spot. The driver ignored them and kept going. At that moment I decided to call the guide, who yelled at me rudely in the phone before he finally agreed to talk to the driver. During their phony conversation the driver seemed to be really confused and didn’t realized that he missed my hotel. Then he turned around and sent me back to the hotel after at least 10-20 minutes delay. I contacted the agency raising my concern. To be up front I was not trying to ask for any compensation. I just wanted him to know what happened and acknowledge the issue. The person insisted that “since you got to your hotel safely, there’s nothing wrong on our end”. I clearly stated that if I was not closely watching Google map, the driver might kept driving further and further and totally forgot about my hotel. The agency then claimed that since they had to serve the other guest they can’t continue the conversation with me, and refused to apologize. To the agency, I know you can see this review. I was simply listing the fact, providing the feedback and asking for some acknowledgement. I would like to resolve this privately if you apologized. However your lack of accountability really disappointed me. To the future travelers with them, please make sure you watch closely during the drop off process.
